I am 38 weeks and 1 day....i was surprised to make it this far but i had a pretty uneventful pregnancy so far. I am scheduled to deliver them on tuesday dec 1 but i am very ready now. My belly just has no more room. Just make sure to drink plenty of water and exercise as much as you can. Walking i think gelped me stay healthy and mobile. Good luck!
I'm only 34 weeks but I'm determined to make it to 38 weeks! I know two moms who gave birth to twins this year - one at 38 weeks to a couple of 6lb-ers and the other at 37 weeks to 7lb-ers!
You'll never know how far you'll make it but just take it one week at a time. Every week I keep them in I get more hopefully that they'll be in until 38 weeks.
Just keep thinking positively and communicate with your OB! Is there a reason your OB doesn't think you'll make it full term?
I made it to my scheduled csection at 38+1 weeks with no complications or anything! I didn't think that I would make it to then. It's definitely possible but it's different for everyone. You never know what your body will do!
I had mine at exactly 38 weeks! Both in the 5 lb range. Toward the end they were keeping a close eye on baby A due to its weight and belly size. Dr just wanted me to get to 36 weeks and was okay with anything after that.
I was induced at 37w4d amd my boys were 6lbs 13oz and 7lbs 5oz. I think I would have made it longer but my doctor agreed to induced me then instead of waiting for my scheduled section at 38 weeks. I delivered them vaginally just a few days shy lol.
I am 30 weeks and 4 days. I have been having contractions and pelvic pain for 24 hours straight, but not always worsening, so I've avoided L&D for now. I work with a woman who made it to 38 weeks with her twins. I'm not holding out hope to make it to my scheduled c-section date at which point I will be 38 weeks and 2 days. That's at the end of Jan and honestly at this point I'm going to be super thrilled to hold them in until the start of Jan.
I made it to 36+6, when peri scheduled my section. They were mono-di and they didn't want them in past 37. I think I could have kept going for another week. I say that now, when Ive forgotten how miserable I was. Lol.
