Hernia during pregnancy

Has anyone had a hernia during pregnancy. This is my 3rd pregnancy I am 9+4 weeks and I previously had a hernia repair with mess some 8 years ago. Im noticing a bulge in my tummy and pain when sneezing. my OB felt it and agrees its there. I have an appointment with the surgeon after the holidays to be monitored and see how bad it may be. Im so nervous because it is bothersome and uncomfortable at times. I have been told to also watch out for it becoming strangled. Anyone experience this.

    I had an umbilical hernia repaired about 2 years ago and when I sneeze it's hurts like hell. I haven't noticed it sticking out again but reading

    I have one on my right side. It swelled after egg retrieval and I was like what the hell is that?! I thought it was a cyst or something. My RE (reproductive endricinologist) had to look at it and tell me. Now it comes and goes. Havent discussed it with my OB yet Bc mine's not painful or constant, but will bring it up at the next apt.

    I posted about this a few weeks ago! I was in a car accident at the end of September and did not know I had a hernia until my growing uterus started putting pressure on it. My doctor said there is not really anything that can be done about it until after baby, and once I am not pregnant it may be a non issue anyway. Mine is an inguinal hernia low on the left side from where the seatbelt got me in the accident. Dr said as my uterus gets bigger it is also possible that it will push everything up and kind of fix it. Really hoping for that!
