This baby bump. Little girl is going to make the holidays and every day so special. Its been a tough road for me these past 9 months and it truly feels like I have run a marathon and IT'S ALMOST OVER! I get so emotional sometimes about it. Pregnancy is the toughest thing Ive done, physically, emotionally, mentally. After this is over and I get my healthy baby girl, God willing, I'll know for sure what I've always suspected. NOTHING is impossible and Im one tough badass lol! In the meantime its time to get up and make some traditional (for me) flan!
I'm thankful that I get to spend thanksgiving with family (we don't often get to spend holidays with our families). I'm also thankful to be able to spend a holiday in a home we purchased and to have the money to eat such a great meal. After having been grad students for so long, I'm super thankful to see that light at the end of the tunnel.
Finally, I'm thankful to be knocked up this holiday so that I can eat whatever I want and no one will give me shit about it and I won't feel guilty.
I'm thankful that my little boy will be here soon. This has has been a long 9 months and I can't wait to meet him. I'm also thankful that the dr didn't keep me at the hospital so I can enjoy my favorite holiday.
I'm thankful that the DPS Academy let the recruits go home early yesterday, and they don't have to be back til the usual Sunday evening time!! That's an extra 2 days with my hubby this week!!!
And yes, this time last year I was so sad, praying that it'd be the last childless holiday season. And it is!!
I'm incredibly thankful for this baby boy that
will be with us so soon. I'm thankful for my amazing husband and supportive
family. I'm thankful for the wonderful ladies of D15, it's been so fun going
through these crazy/fun/emotional times with everyone!
I'm so thankful my husband has his first Thanksgiving off since we have been together--which leads me to be extra thankful for all the firefighters and paramedics who are working today to keep others safe.
I'm thankful for my loving and supportive husband, his family, my family and friends, and for LO to be making her debut in ten days (of course she'll decide if she wants a December 6 birthday). I'm also thankful for the ladies on this community who I have been become friends with over these past 9 months. Oh and how could I forget?..full panel maternity leggings!
Thankful for my health, my beautiful boys and awesome friends. Thankful that I have a roof over my head, clothes on my back and food in the fridge. Also, thankful for you wonderful ladies on the Bump.

That's awesome! Enjoy your first Thanksgiving together! I'd like to add that I would like to thank all of our firefighters, police officers, paramedics, EMTs, doctors, and nurses who are working today!!
I am thankful for my 3 amazing kids. I struggled with pcos and it took 13 years to build the size family I dreamed I would have. My kids get on my nerves but I wouldn't have it any other way. I am thankful for my husband who supports me and also gives me a swift kick in the pants when I am clearly in the wrong and ends up making me a better person. I am also thankful for all people serving in our military who can't be home today with their families but are out there doing their jobs and helping to keep the rest of us safe.
I am thankful for my amazing husband and toddler. My boys are so much fun and so much love. I am thankful to live close enough to celebrate with my supportive, hilarious, strange and beautiful family this year. I am incredibly thankful for my mom. She took care of my grandma tirelessly and without complaint for the last several months, even when she was so weak she couldn't speak. I can't imagine being able to face that kind of responsibility and sorrow. During that time, she also lost her job. She's such a badass and I am so very grateful to have her as an example for myself and my children.
Thankful for my baby being healthy and being able to bring him home sometime today. Also, for all of the hospital staff who spend holidays with their patients instead of their own families. This goes for everyone from laundry to physicians.
I am thankful for my amazing boyfriend and for our friends & family who have been so supportive of us during the last 9 months. I am extremely thankful for this sweet little princess who is currently kicking and rolling around in my tummy, and for her health as well as mine throughout this journey. I can't wait to begin some new holiday traditions with my new little family (:
So thankful for my health and that we've made it this far in pregnancy! Thankful for my baby boy (or girl!) being so active in my tummy reminding me how lucky I am. Thankful for the turkey i'm about to devour... and all of you and your support. It's DECEMBER IN 4 DAYS YOU GUYS!!!!!
My Thanksgiving was back in October, but I always love the thankfulness threads, so I'll play too.
I'm thankful for my mother-in-love (as my SIL says). I've had a few gripes about her lately...probably due to pregnancy-crankiness...but she is truly a wonderful person. She is so generous to my kids and involved with their lives. She never hesitates to help (even if it's not the way I want it done) and always pitches in without complaining. I'm especially thankful for that this week, as I was sick almost all day Monday, and she came over after work to look after the kids so I could nap. She fed them for me, helped them with homework and tidying their rooms, and had them almost all the way into bed when DH got home from work. I never could have managed that on my own that day, so I feel extra blessed this week.
I have so much to be thankful for that it just got too long. So I took all the details away and am just going to say that I am so thankful 2015 happened the way it did. I am far luckier this year than I could possibly ever deserve. All I can do is hope to earn it..
I'm thankful that I'm 37 weeks today (throughout this process the MDs keep discussing it like 37 is a magic # so it feels so good)! I'm thankful my husband helped make a fancy dinner!
I'm thankful for so much this year. I am thankful that this year I am celebrating a new life I will be meeting soon, when last year I was mourning the loss of my first pregnancy. I am thankful for the love, support, and generosity of my family and my in-laws. And I am thankful for my DH, no matter how much he aggravates or annoys me at times he truly is an amazing person and works so hard to make me happy.
I am beyond thankful for God blessing me with my healthy baby girl Cortana that will be here before I know it, with the blessing of my job, I really have a great team I work with, and I am very thankful and blessed to have my husband Joe, who has given me hell, but also has made me happier than I ever thought I would be. Happy Thanksgiving lady's, may your holidays be merry and bright, and baby's be healthy and happy.
I'm super thankful for my life. I truly am blessed with family, friends, pets, and now this new baby. I am also thankful to be 17 months sober as of yesterday. Nothing in my life would be possible if I wasnt.
I'm so thankful that despite my baby boys cleft lip and palate he's completely healthy. It might be tough the first year but I'm so happy it's only cosmetic.

I love hearing sobriety stories! I've seen addiction second hand from people I am close with and it's such a crippling thing. Be proud of yourself everyday. It takes a brave, strong-willed individual to break addiction.
I'm so thankful we are able to have our sweet princess home and her monitor has only alarmed once so far! She's a champ and doing wonderful! I'm thankful for my husband, family, and friends who have helped us get through this year. We are truly so blessed!

Thank yourself. It took strength and courage to do what you've done and most people will never know anything that hard. Happy sobriety anniversary!
