Cute picture @Linsbins! That reminds me...I need to get a family picture done for Christmas cards this year.
I am AW'ing Thanksgiving, for multiple reasons.
1. For giving me an extra long holiday weekend.
2. For getting me out of work early today.
3. For all the yummy food.
4. Last, but most importantly, giving us time with family.
Can you tell I'm ready to get the fack out of this office?
This is exactly me today! Closing at lunch and I am so ready!
And I get to finally decorate for Christmas this weekend!
YES! I totally forgot about decorating. Last night on my way home DH called me, and I told him I was listening to Christmas music. Come Sunday, the decorations are coming out and we will be planning a day to go get our tree. ALSO - less than one week until 25 Days of Christmas starts on ABC Family.
I'm going with @mrsschmity on this one! I love Thanksgiving.
1. I'm hosting Thanksgiving this year and we have 22 people coming! The last couple years we haven't been able to bring the family together due to some family issues. So happy to have everyone together this year.
2. I have 9 days off school for Thanksgiving yes you read that right...9.
3. My aunt is making homemade almond roca and I'm going to eat the whole tray!
Also yesterday at my son's school event the school director went on and on about how amazing and intelligent ds is and how glad they are he is going there. Made me happy to see other people learning how great he is and to know he's appreciated
We're hosting Thanksgiving this year, so today is prep day. I've made a pumpkin pie, got an apple ginger pie in the oven now, and next to go is a cheesecake. Ran laundry, ironing tablecloth and cloth napkins, steaming carpets.....then a nap.
Also, I haven't even dry heaved once today! Woohoo 9 weeks!

@crdo You sound very productive today! I am jealous.
These are all fabulous, ladies! Mine is that I've just finished successfully training a new ABA therapist who joined our team, I made a delicious chana masala from a new recipe last night that my DH loved, and I am looking forward to NOT having to deep clean our place because we aren't hosting Thanksgiving!
Haha, thanks @mrsschmity and @Sgoldberg247. I'm being productive out of self-defense--less to do by noon tomorrow when family shows up If it helps, I yawned and made myself nauseous from that (yay), and I'm currently laying down while pie #2 bakes.
Yay for Black Friday! Shopping all morning, then decorating all afternoon!
My AW is that if we have a strong heartbeat on the Doppler today at my appt, we're telling DS 1 tonight. I hope he is happy about being a big brother again.

I think my cat can sense the pregnancy hormones in the air, because he's turned into the sweetest, snuggliest little animal ever, and he's normally a toady little grump. I love it.

Maybe he's just cold. My cat is all up in my snuggles when it gets cold in here :P
I'm going to AW my mad culinary skills. I just baked pumpkin spice cupcakes with cream cheese frosting AND a triple lemon layer cake complete with homemade lemon curd and homemade lemon buttercream. I'm so ready to grub tomorrow

I did the dishes today and didn't throw up! First time in over a month..yay me! I was super productive even though my 4 year old was home today already on break. We made our own mini pizzas for dinner and made fun turkey hats for tomorrow. I can't imagine what summer break is going to be like with 3 kids 4 and under...yikes.
