Holiday dress and pregnant body.

I have a holiday party coming up. I'll only be 13 1/2 weeks, but this is my third and I have a feeling my already thicker tummy might be pudgy by that time. The fun "is she gaining weight or is she pregnant" stage. The party is pretty formal, and I have nothing!

Here are the pictures of the only two things in my closer that might work. The white and black one is very slim fitting, so I'm worried about looking pudgy. The other I would hem to make it just above my knee instead of floor length like I is now.

Woul either of these work or do I need to start over? I never go to dressy events, so I could use some advice!

I think those dresses look great, the darker one might hide more because of the color.

But there's always excuse to go shopping!

Both very pretty but the blue especially! Blue is more festive and goes well with your hair colour!

It depends, are you trying to hide still? If not I say rock the bump. If you are then a different cut dress may be needed. You'll want something that doesn't get snug under the boobs cause that makes the blump look bigger. I went to a wedding Saturday and had to change dresses cause the one I got way back is slim and shows off the bump. While trying on other options from my closet, anything that was empire waist just made me look more pregnant. I managed to find a black dress with some bling up by the neck and it flowed straight down, you could barely see a bump. So a simple black dress like that is easy to find.

if you're not trying to conceal the pregnancy don't worry about a snug dress! I love me some maternity Spanx for smoothing out a nice bump

You could add a fun pop of red somewhere like a necklace and shoes to distract people from your tummy too!

Good ideas. I was thinking of red if I do use that dress. It's a little low in the back so I thought maybe a little red lace cami under it or something?
I'll probably have to try on both dresses when it gets closer.
