Did anyone else get the letter in the mail about the Bravelle recall? I guess they are possibly refunding money.

The dates for reimbursement for those paying out of pocket for the medicine was between March 27th and October 15th of this year.

Also got the letter about the Bravelle recall. I called this morning and they're sending me a reimbursement kit to send in remaining vials and receipts. I'm really curious if I'll get the full amount I paid refunded!

I got the card. I was planning to call on my day off tomorrow. I'll have to go through my receipts, but I think I used it twice (with IUIs) during that time frame.

I paid out of pocket for this drug in September but haven't received anything, could you ladies post contact info from the company on the letter you received? I am going to the pharmacy for drugs for my upcoming cycle today and will ask them about it as well!

The contact number is 1-877-650-3482 M-F 8am-5pm EST. The only thing they asked me is how much I purchased, if it was purchased in the US, and if I have any remaining vials.

I'm so glad I found this forum!!!!! I have my ER tomorrow and used almost 14 boxes of Bravelle that fit within those dates! Hopefully, it will be a win-win...pregnant AND get the $ back. Does anyone know if having a successful outcome deters you from refund?
Let's keep each other all updated! Lots of prayers for me tomorrow morning. Despite the Bravelle issue.

Got my rebate kit today! There's an envelope w a shipping label and a form to fill out asking how much you purchased. No where does it ask the outcome of your cycle so hopefully you'll get a BFP and a refund @MSR1977 ! They do mention that they subtract any IVF green light rebates from the refund amount (which I imagine anyone that bothered w Bravelle did it for the rebate program...). Hopefully only the Bravelle portion of the rebate is subtracted from the refund amount.

Wow. Thank you @CatieM80 I just had my egg retrieval and have the fresh transfer on Saturday. So, I'm going to get on this next week. Something in my head is not wanting to "jinx" it until that's over with. I know that sounds silly, but I KNOW the extra cash will at least soften the blow OR make things even more exciting either way-BFP or BFN. I will say (and this may have no correlation): I was given the highest dose my clinic allows: 600iu Bravelle a day. (300AM / 300PM) and this is my first IVF! I was shocked Bc my numbers on previous testing Lh, AFC, etc all very healthy and diagnosis was make fertility factor. However, I am 38 so, advanced age was taken into consideration above all else.
I'm wondering if the high doses allowed me to respond like normal doses on another Stim? I had 19 retrieved/13 mature/11 fertilized thus far. FX
That being said, you can imagine how much $$$ I spent over the course of 10 Stim days at that dose.

I had one vial of Bravelle for the end of my cycle before ER...I'm glad I didn't get a bad batch. that is scary...
