Hubby went back to work today so now it's just me and LO. He is 3 weeks .. Any ideas of what to do all day with baby ? Any suggestions would be great !
If I had to do maternity leave again with just my first at home: go on long walks, see friends for lunch, go to the library, museums, "crybaby matinees" if you have them nearby. Sightseeing mainly. The added benefit is that you can make your kid a sleep-anywhere kind of child, which is a huge benefit long term.
Sleep, snuggle, watch bad daytime tv, run errands, museum, lunch dates... I've done all of this with mine. We even did a double feature at the movies on Friday (Hunger Games and 007). I wear her and if she's in the stroller I pull everything closed so no lookey loos

How old is your lo? And how did they do with the loud noise of the movie theater?? I'd love to be able to go to the movies with lo but she's only 3 weeks and I think it might be a bit too loud for her little ears.
I try to leave most days at least once. Either an appointment, shopping, lunch with someone, etc. I'm antsy sitting at home. I'm not too worried about taking him out. Once he was overwhelmed in a loud restaurant so we won't do that again but overall has been good on any outing. FYI- the mall is great!
Other than that I watch TV or if he's napping I try to do some dishes or laundry. One day we were having people over and in the hour he was sleeping I managed to clean and tidy the whole house! (Granted our house is only 1200 SF).
@ashwise 3 weeks and I put ear plugs in her ears and cover them for the exploding parts. I also sit in the middle of the handicapped row (is that offensive? So sorry if it is) away from the big speakers. I went to the movies all the time when I was pregnant so she's kinda used to it... I read somewhere whatever a baby hears in utero won't disturb them on the outside and sure enough you can put this one anywhere and she taps out lol
@ashwise it's not the same but we took lo to Texas Roadhouse, which was EXTREMELY loud, at 3 weeks and he was sleeping or calmly awake the entire time and seems to enjoy decently loud places.
