I don't know how those with multiple little ones manage each day! Kudos to all of you. My kids are 12, 6 and 12 weeks. Today I'm watching my 12y/o's little sister who is 2 (long story short, my ex and I have a 12 year old daughter together, he has 3 kids with someone else and i have 2 with my husband. All of the kids get along awesomely. Its actually like they are all related. Lots of people find it "dysfunctional" that my ex's kids sleepover and I sometimes babysit them. I love it! More families should be this "dysfunctional". Back to the actual post) omg! I'm so tired already and it's only 11am. How do you chase one while tending to the other?! She wants to play, read and draw while baby boy is going through a growth spurt and very clingy. He just wants bottles and to be held. All I wanna do is take a nap. Again, kudos to all of you with multiple little ones!

  • Thank you for posting this! I needed to hear something like this today. DD#1 is 2 and DD#2 is 3 months. I've been feeling like I spend my day going from one to another in terms of attention and while I feel bad about it, it's how I manage until DH comes home. They both need attention. Sometimes they can get it at the same time, other times not.

I think your family dynamic is great! What a wonderful situation and example to set for all the kiddos.

  • Same here! DS turned 2 10 days before I had DS2, its pretty draining but awesome at the same time. I'm constantly worrying if I give enough attention to one or the other but at the end of the day they both feel loved and get as many kisses and cuddles as they can.

Sounds like you all have a great family and are awesome at co parenting!
  • I'm often just worn out. DD1 turns 3 next month, baby is 10w. Some days DD1 plays independently, they nap at the same time and I get things done. Other days are a train wreck where I can't even manage to get everyone dressed and fed.

Sounds like you guys are doing a great job co parenting!
