2ww- week of Nov 29

i am due for my beta on Nov 30th
One week down, one to go. I think this is the hardest week!
Wanted to see if anyone else is due the week of Nov 29? We can wait it out together!

I am on my 3rd IUI- just did follistim injections. Had 7 follicles. I'm 40- due to the lovely advanced maternal age number, my MD said to go through with the IUI so we did.....Hoping 3rd time is a charm!

Good luck to everyone!

I'm going to be testing on Dec 3 so I'll join you in the wait!

I'm 36 and have been TTC naturally for 2+ years. I have PCOS. This is my first medicated cycle (letrozole, ovidrel trigger, TI) and I'm currently 4dpo. I only had one mature follicle but at least it's something.

@Krisd6 do you always get that many follicles? That's so impressive! Fingers crossed for you!!!

My test date is 12/4 (my birthday, yikes!). At that point I will be 14 dpo although I rarely make it that long. I was scheduled for my 3rd IUI, but it got cancelled since I ovulated early. We did BD the night of and two days before ovulation so I know I'm not out. I was taking 100mg clomid and this month I started on prometrium which I take through 12 dpo. FX for everyone!

Hi everyone- I had my IUI 4 days ago and my beta is scheduled for 12/3.  This is my second medicated cycle and second IUI. I did Letrozole days CD 3-7 then did the trigger shot. I had 4 follicles going into the IUI. Hoping for some good luck this cycle. How is everyone feeling? Any physical symptoms? I still feel bloated since the IUI. Glad we can all wait it out together :)

I've been getting weird cramps ever since I did the trigger shot (last Tuesday, so a week ago).My nipples are a little tender but my breasts feel okay. Usually they get more tender after ovulation so I don't know what's up with that. I go in for a progesterone test on Wed. so hopefully my levels are doing okay. I'm also testing 12/3. @jilligan14 I've gone through 4 cycles. The first was a combo of Femara and Follistem- I produced 9 follicles and they canceled my IUI. For the 2 and 3 cycle I produced 2. This pat cycle was just injections and I produced 7 and they went through with the IUI.

Wishing everyone good luck! Glad we can be here to support each other. This cycle was a little different for me- I had pretty bad cramping during day 1 and 2 of the IUIs. The MD said it was probably due to the follicles.
I've been feeling bloated but no other symptoms..

Are any of you going to test early? I'm thinking I might on Friday or Saturday. I don't know if I can wait until Monday for my beta!!

@kh87 I actually did TI, not IUI but it was on the same date as you! I can't believe how far away 12/3 seems. Is everyone going in for a beta? My RE wants me to do a HPT first and if it's positive, then I'll go in for a beta. I'm going in tomorrow to check on my progesterone levels to make sure they are adequate (I've had low progesterone before). Good luck everyone! We can do this!

Update: I spoke with the doctors office today (finally) and the nurse told me I most likely ovulated Thursday or possibly even Wednesday (of last week). She said there is no way to definitively tell from the bloodwork, but that I should test 12/3 and not 12/4. She did say that they made a mistake and next cycle I will come in earlier in the cycle for US and BW. Again, still not out for this cycle though since we did BD last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

@kh87 @jilligan14 @martinez1029 @roxgibbons I'm so glad I have you all to wait it out with.  Fingers crossed for all of us!  DH and I tried TI (this was our first cycle - medicated).  At my last appointment my RE actually cancelled the cycle because he said there were 4 mature follicles and my uterine lining was a bit thin, and they were concerned about the possibility of multiples.  However, I got a second opinion and the second doctor said they would not have cancelled the cycle due to 4 mature follicles or the thin lining.  The second doctor explained that every doctor subscribes to a certain protocol and they work within the parameters of that protocol.  Not that one is necessarily right or wrong.

The second doctor said that if DH and I still wanted to try that I should take the progesterone that had already been prescribed by the first doctor and BD to our hearts content.  So we decided to go rogue and continue the cycle.  We know there is a possibility of multiples.  We know this.  But statistically speaking (and per the second doctor), the likelihood is so small.  I just couldn't see wasting the cycle.  After all that medication and the cost I just couldn't throw the cycle away.

So needless to say, we will be doing a HPT first.  If it's positive then we'll go to the doctor for the official word.  It seems like 12/3 is eons away!

I'm so glad there is a bunch of us with 12/3 test dates! My clinic's protocol is to go in for beta. The waiting is the hardest!! Hopefully Thanksgiving will be a good distraction. I'm feeling a little less bloated today but have cramps an weird sensations in the lower belly but I'm not going to overanalyze. Last month I had every symptom and got a BFN so I'm just trying to be as calm and patient as possible.

@roxgibbons @jamaicanqt @jilligan14 I'm so happy we all have the same date I don't feel so alone now!! I have had the pulling sensation too. I think it's possibly from the procedure itself or maybe the progesterone.... Or maybe over analyzing who knows!!

My first iui was a fail (obviously)
I totally gave my hopes up... It wasn't until my negative beta that the nurse at my RE's office told me that a positive on the first iui was very uncommon . Gee thanks for the heads up!!! They said it usually takes 3 .... On my second now and we did things different this time ( the doubles my dose of gonal F and did the iui a day before ovulation. ) also DH had double the swimmers this time. So it's already An improvement from last cycle.

Fingers crossed for all of us!!! Hope we get a nice Christmas gift this year!!!!

Do any of you temp during medicated cycles? I wanted to keep temping just to see what happened but my temps have a been a bit all over the place. Plus my breasts are still soft and squishy (usually they feel hard/tender/sore by this point when I ovulate). Feeling a bit worried that the trigger shot didn't work and I didn't ovulate. But I'll know for sure tomorrow when I go in for my progesterone test.

@jilligan14 Temping hasn't worked for me.  I'm a zombie when I first wake up.  I can't remember much of anything.  I'm just on auto-pilot.

@kh87 You've gotta know that you can't weigh yourself right now.  Don't add that extra stress to your life.

@martinez1029 I've been feeling the cramping and weird sensations in my belly too.  I even woke up at 4am super nauseous.  As I hung out in the bathroom feeling like crap all I could do was laugh and tell God thank you if this is what I think it could be.  Because I recently spoke with a woman who was pregnant and not at all excited about it (crazy client at my former job).  She regret keeping the baby and complained about how she was sick the entire time.  And I told her I would give so much to have that sickness right now (blah blah blah, you guys know the feeling).  Anywho, when I was awakened by this sick feeling this morning I just felt thankful.  If it turns out that I'm not pregnant this time then BOOOOOOOO on having a stomach bug.  Oh but if I am pregnant......the Lord's praises will continually be in my mouth!  Of course, the pessimist in me chimed in and said "it's probably just the progesterone pills".  At this point, who knows.  I could be setting myself up for a big let down.  Or I can be speaking positivity into my future!  I'm choosing to go with the latter.

And yes this would be the BEST Christmas present EVER!!!!

@jilligan14- I used to temp when we were just trying on our own, but stopped once we started treatment. I did like seeing the shift on the chart, as confirmation. I'm not sure how meds effect temps but I understand you wondering if the trigger worked. I wondered the same thing especially since I did it myself. I hope your test puts your mind at ease tomorrow.

@roxgibbons I've been charting for over a year so wanted to keep it up for my first medicated cycle but honestly it's stressing me out a bit. There was a small shift up, a huge drop down and now it's slightly high again but not as high as it usually goes. I just assumed the meds would make my temps go up real high. I'll be so disappointed if I went through all of this to not even ovulate! I can't wait to get the results tomorrow and get some clarity about what's going on. Thanks for your response, I appreciate it.

    **Update**

I just got the results from my progesterone test (8 days post-trigger, 6dpo) and it's 17.2. So that means I definitely DID ovulate!! Wahoo! And it means it's a good enough number that I don't need to take the supplements. Thank goodness as I hate taking the progesterone (really makes me feel like crap). So I guess this confirms that the meds really do mess up your temps!

@jilligan14 does low progesterone mean you may not have ovulated? Mine was 12 this morning. I have to use the gross capsules. I put the first one in at 2 and by 3 had a thumping headache. This is my first time!

@kh87 - different doctors have different levels for things but usually anything over a 5 indicates ovulation but most dr's want to see over 10 for a natural cycle or over 15 for a medicated cycle. So I think 12 seems okay if this is a natural cycle for you. How many DPO are you?

@jilligan14 it was a medicated cycle. Today makes 7dpiui. I also have PCOS so my hormones are never right, not sure if that makes a difference or not. This was
My first IUI because it's the first time I've actually made follicles. Everything now is new to me!

@jilligan14 good to know because I was considering temping again on my next cycle. Halfway there!!

I had the craziest heaviness feeling and cramps yesterday and same heaviness today mostly on right side which is where the majority of my mature follies were. Trying not to read into it too much. I'm thankful for 1 week down in TWW!

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Sadly I think I'm out. Started what I think is my period tonight. Hopeful it's not but I have a sinking feeling it is. Ugh! So very depressing!!!! This is such an emotional roller coaster. We will try one more IUI (#4) before going to talk about IVF.....

Wishing everyone luck over the next week. Keep us updated so we can celebrate those bfps!!!

@kh87 did they just start you on the progesterone? 12 seems a little low but not too bad. The supplements should help bring your levels up. Yes, headaches are a side effect to the progesterone. I also had intense cramping and nausea when I had to take it. It plays tricks on your mind and makes you feel like you're pregnant.

@Krisd6 oh no!! Does it seem like AF or is it just spotting? I'm so sorry if you're truly out for this round. But glad you got a plan for the next steps. This whole process can be so exhausting and defeating. fingers crossed you get your BFP soon!!

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!!!

    @ultratomato good luck!

@jilligan14 thankfully the headache was only with the first one. Started an hour after I put the first one in. When I woke up the next day I felt totally fine. I have no symptoms right now and it's even helping my pimples. I actually feel better than I normally do at this point in my cycle bc of my PCOS. Normally at this time I have terrible anxiety and insomnia but I feel great. My only complaint is the gross discharge...

We just did our first cycle of IVF after being told that would be the only way for us to get pregnant. They transferred two embryos on on the 18th. I got a BFP on a HPT today so hopefully we will get good news!! Good luck to everybody!
