Hi! My husband and I have been TTC for around 3 years now. I don't ovulate by way of PCOS. This past cycle we got a lot of things fixed at one time, and I ovulated for the first time. I received 10000 ml (?) of pregnyl on day 14, 11/11/15. Last week on day 22 and 23 I took a dollar store pregnancy test and tested negative, which brought me to the assumption the shot was out of my system. Today, 11 days after trigger, I tested with a FRER and got the faintest line. Is there a possibility that is from the trigger even though I had two negatives 2,3 days before that? My husband thinks so, and I just don't know as this was my first trigger. Any advice/help? I will be taking another tomorrow with fmu as this was mid day today. Thank you!
It's probably out of your system, but you won't know for sure until you wait a few more days. Whenever I've had the trigger shot, I just presumed that I wouldn't be able to use the FRER, period.
Tomorrow, test with the dollar store test. You already know you tested the shot out with it. If you get a squinter, then you can be excited.
Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
TTC with frozen donor sperm and science
7 IUIs, 7 BFNs. 2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs. Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire. Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus! fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP! Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)
Last month my trigger was still in my system up to a few days before my missed period. I'm having that same confusion now, but I'm 11dpo. I tested yesterday and today and had very faint lines. Confused on whether or not it's trigger or the real deal. FX in your case it is the real deal I would definitely keep testing and see if the line gets any darker.

So, my nurse said the trigger can definitely still be in your system up to 14dpo. You getting a negative before a BFP could be a good sign though. FX for you.

The half life of the trigger shot is 5.6 hours but it can vary individually. It's out of most everyone's system in 5-10 days. I agree to see if you get a positive on the same test you tested negative on. Unfortunately it's a waiting game. I'm 15 days post trigger so I'm hoping my BFP is real but...
