Hi ladies! I've been exclusively breast-feeding for the past six weeks and after numerous issues I am deciding to transition over to formula. For all of you that are already using formula do you have any recommendations on which one to use?
I looked for one that had "lactose" instead of "corn syrup" as one of the first ingredients. Similar for Supplementstion and Enfamil Newborn both worked.
I've tried both simalic and enfamil. My LO and I both perfect enfamil. On my experience simalic once shaken to mix it up always had a lot of bubbles in it. I personally didn't like it and I use the sensitive type for both
I had the same problem I'm currently mixing half breast milk and half organic Similac until my milk supply runs out and then it will be strictly formula. My LO had no constipation or gas when switching and didn't refuse a bottle of it. Plus the organic Similac uses cane sugar and not corn syrup. And Costco sells it for a good price.
We breastfeed but my supply is low so sometimes DS needs a little extra. He's colicky so we use the Gerber smooth, it works wonders with him! We tried the enfamil gentle ease and it made him super gassy and bound up!
