Has anyone heard of it? Done it? Know someone who did it? I talked to a pregnant friend over the weekend who did the sneak peek gender kit, and it was right for her. I read some reviews, and they seem mostly positive. Although, the reviews are limited. What are your thoughts?

It's a total waste of money, IMO. Just wait, you'll find out soon enough.

Here's the web site.... https://sneakpeektest.com/sneakpeek-the-test/
Gender==//==Sex : gender is not developed until much later on. It is an identity and sex determines how your baby will pee. There is no way that this test can know the gender of your child before it has developed a gender.
In North America, approximately 1% babies are born intersex. Meaning, that they have some degree of characteristics of the opposite sex even if it's a small amount. So the chances of your having a boy/girl/intersex child are 49.5%/49.5%/1%.
The only way for you to find out this early what the sex of your child is is to have one of the specialty tests done such as Harmony or Maternity21...

So many people don't know proper terminology and it's important to spread awareness.
I'd also just like to point out that these tests' main purpose is to find genetic abnormalities in the baby and not to be used to find out what color to paint the nursery.
Is it an added bonus? Of course!
However if you weren't planning on these forms of testing please don't use it to find out the sex of your baby as it takes up time, resources and raises costs.
I'd also like to make sure it is understood that I'm not implying any of you would do it but just want to put it out there for anyone who may have the idea to abuse the reasons for theses tests.
But that was ok.

Great points! $100 is a lot of money for something that I wouldn't fully believe anyway. @bostonbaby1 you brought up some things that didn't even cross my mind. I think I'll save the $100, and wait.
This is the study behind the "sneak a peek" gender blood test.

I'm also saying this, because I have bills, my masters to pay off, and a four year old that keeps me on my toes.
We are in this together, y'all.
**I am going to be so disappointed if I have to switch boards. I like everyone already, hah!
Seriously??? Who is your insurance provider? I've never heard of that.
That's insane!!! You should first call up and dispute the lack of coverage. BCBS is a great company and it's very strange. Second thing to do is to call the manufacturer and ask for a discounted OOP price. Explain your situation. Wow. That sucks.
