Since pregnancy I've been having trouble with my hands. They began swelling at night and caused joint paint that would last most of the day sometimes. Post pregnancy they no longer swell but they still hurt especially in the wrist. So much so that I'm afraid I will drop the baby one day. I've learned that this a condition called Mommy Thumb. I found this article which gives a few ideas on how to treat it. But will it ever go away? I hope so. Anyone else experiencing this? How do you cope?

Re: Mommy Thumb

  • I have this!! And ive actually had it way before the baby. All you can really do is rest it when you can , which is near impossoble. I also use ice and a wrist brace when its really bad. Sometomes it gets to the point i can't even lift a coffee cup
