June 2016 Moms

I made a big baby buy today!

Im so excited. I got the Uppa Baby Vista 2015 with the 2nd (rumble) seat and bassinet all brand new with the 2 year warranty for $740!! I was going to wait to purchase this till I was much closer to my due date but thats an amazing deal I was not about to pass up. Normally for all of that its a little over $1,000.
Seriously ladies if there is something you really want and its a little out of your budget or your just not wanting to pay full price keep searching for it on eBay or just google the product name with "deals" etc attached and eventually(Not always but more often than not) a serious discount will pop up eventually. With my daughter I did not really know how to find deals and paid full price for everything but with my son I was able to get so many great deals and almost never paid full price for those big ticket baby items. Maybe most of you 2nd time moms have learned this already but for all you first time moms I highly recommend  doing this. I know its not like a secret to do this but I didn't know this with my daughter so Im hoping to help some of you moms get some steals! =)

  • Fun! Congrats!

  • Where did you get such a great deal?
  • @on3in2015 Question: Once the infant outgrows the mesa, is there another car seat that can be purchased that works for the vista? I'm a FTM trying to figure out this whole stroller/car seat thing. So confusing!
  • I need to look on eBay! I've been keeping my eyes open for a Black Friday deal on that stroller!

Hi! I would love to know how you found it as I have been looking at this myself. I was worried it might be too heavy or difficult to fold. I like the fact you can also get a travel bag and are insured for damage in flight by UPPA. Bit in love with this pram but husband likes a different one! How old will DD be when baby arrives? Does she fit well in toddler seat? Sorry for all questions! Thanks.

Nope...after your baby outgrows an infant seat, you move to a convertible which is a more permanent seat and doesn't click in or out. I had the Mesa with my son and I believe the weight limit is 35lbs. Trust me, you won't want to be carrying that around. My son is 1 & only weighs 20lbs and would be wayyy too heavy to carry around in a bucket seat. He's been out of that seat for about 5 months now.
  • If you're searching on eBay, search for misspelled things also- instead of uppa, type upa. You'd be surprised how many things get miscategorized that way. That's a lot of money, but at least you saved some!
  • I have a 9 month old and we got the Uppa Baby 2015 when it first came out. I love it, just a little bulky. Now we will be getting the second seat!
  • I would love to have a stroller with a bassinet option. Trying to weigh the extra 200 cost with the short 3 months life span it will have.

  • If your in a colder climate I say defiantly go for it. Im actually not in a colder climate. Im in L.A and travel to Northern California often which is much colder BUT we are not getting an infant seat this go around since my children are so tall and outgrow them far to quickly. And even though the seat that comes with the stroller is safe for a newborn I would much prefer a bassinet. Also a bonus I love is that during travel it can be used as true bassinet in the house or hotel etc! For me its worth the price especially since we are saving by not purchasing an infant seat. I hope this was helpful!
