I've been playing audio books while I sleep. The Secret Garden to be specific. It's key to have a kind and gentle story because it slightly influences my dreams. Since I started it I've still had vivid dreams, but none have been traumatic. I used to listen to audio books to help lull me to sleep when I had insomnia from anxious thoughts a couple years ago, so I tried it now and I'm so so pleased with the results.
