Good hand hygiene, Lysol and surgical masks might save you. I'd almost be tempted to put a call in to my OB to see if they wanted stricter quarantine protocol (but you've already been well exposed to whatever he's got).
They put me on tami flu. Major hand washing going on. He is so sad and pathetic lysoling my hole house. Didn't think of the mask idea @Bombmom3 I may have to go that route.
Please take care of yourself! I just got out of the hospital after coming down with the stomach flu and getting so dehydrated I started having contractions. It was not fun and now I'm freaking out about staying healthy til this baby comes!
1 tsp Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) + 1 tsp honey + 6-8oz water = my great grandmother's cure all for flus/colds/bugs. It seriously works wonders. Drink some every day. Mix the honey and ACV before you add the water, though. It kind of tastes like lemonade.
@VesperLove he is sequestered in the family room. He has actually been sleeping out there any way the past week since I wake him up so much. Our house is so small that our only other rooms are our bed room and the babies room.

This is a good plan in general but you have to be ok with the fact that both are unpasteurized (and I suspect that pasteurized versions of the two wouldn't be as effective since the good organizms would have been destroyed with the bad in pasteurization). I would personally wait on this remedy until after giving birth.
@kelseyofanne I didn't even consider pasteurization. Oops. Haha. Well, baby and I are fine, so, I guess I have a good batch. Actually my ACV is homemade too...so definitely not pasteurized. Yeah, I guess if you're not used to it, wait til after baby.
@ArielleRene I think homemade ACV is awesome! I honestly didn't think about the honey thing either until my midwife mentioned it a couple weeks ago! There was also some amazing unpasteurized apple juice from a local farm I drank through the summer and then thought 'whoops'! Oh well as far as I know baby is still fine!
If you can get a mask, it's probably best for your DH to wear it (or both of you maybe). I'm pretty sure those masks are in general better at keeping germs and droplets from getting out (and onto you or things you'll touch) than keeping them from getting in. Good luck!
Well his fever went below 100 thank goodness. I have been super duper careful. Washingi ng hands, lysoling the bathroom after he is in there, ect. I am pooped tho. He needs to get better so he can take care of me again haha

@ArielleRene how many times a day do you drink this ??
@stlmomof2 Just once a day when I remember, unless I'm fighting something, then 2-3 times. *edit to add... I find it especially helpful for stomach bugs or mild cases of potential food poisoning. For example, "That tasted funny... I think it was spoiled! Better drink some honey and vinegar!" Also, it's soothing with a little extra honey and less water to make a syrup to slide down a sore throat.
Omg i am dosed with a chest infection. You def dont want to be catching this. Im hoing to try the ACV and hope it works. Im too afraid to take medication. Thanks ppl x
