Sleep regression

Recently my DD has been waking up at odd times during the night, she will be wide awake, fuss and cry and o have to pick her up and walk around with her until she decides to go back to sleep. I used to be able to stick her paci in her mouth and she'd fall right back to sleep. Well not anymore!!! She will be 14 weeks this Sunday. Anyone else going through this? I am losing my mind.

    It's just a phase momma! The trick is to not accommodate her demands and try to stick to your routine if possible (unless the screaming is going to wake the household, the neighbors, and the man on the moon, then by all means pick that baby up). As she is growing, she may be getting hungry at those times, so maybe try offering her an ounce or two to satisfy her instead of the paci.

    Growth spurt? Or maybe she's coming down with a bug? DD did the same thing for the two nights before she got a fever and got really congested. (Just a bug, nothing serious.) I think she was feeling bad but not yet showing any symptoms that I could pick up on other than being fussy. Good luck. I'm sure it will pass soon!
