I posted this article in here which I just finished reading because at the end it says this woman was registered on the bump. She was 9 mos like most of us are. Wondering if anyone here knew her? This is just so sad and heinous!

Stranger danger. This is one of the many is why we try to warn people from posting their private info in ultrasound pics, email addresses, or joining large fb groups with unknown strangers too soon. Funny, almost everything we've brought up the importance of privacy and security, we get mad flames from special unicorns and snowflakes.

Edited to add that it sounds like these two women knew eachother in their neighborhood, but that does not make stranger danger any less real.

Yes. It's nice to have support but you never know. This is horrible and one of the reasons I don't interact with strangers IRL. So scary.

By the sounds of the article, she was only registered on the baby registry area, not the forum. But definitely what @spottedginger said about stranger danger. Horrible story and start to the holidays.

I thought about her registering with the bump but I don't think they would post that she was also on the forum so I figured she could've been a mbr? Still, so heart breaking..

This happens more than people realize. When I was pregnant with my first they were interviewing a local girl who was cut from her mothers womb with a car key, girl was then turning 18
