Feeling crampy in lower abdomen, is this normal?

Hey guys, I tend to be a hypochondriac...big time. But I just wanted to see if this was something I should worry about/ask my doctor about before my appointment in a few weeks. Every now and then i'll feel like I have some lower abdomen pain very light and it almost feels like cramps. It's nothing extreme or long lasting but every now and then I get it. I am 6 weeks today with my first. Am I just being weird and noticing everything too much? Just curious what you gals have to say. :)

Thanks!

@LizzaBuffy , I'm with ya on the freaking out for no reason - esp when I get cramps or twinges since I'm not used to them coming so frequently! Usually I only cramp around ovulation or my period, but I must say they do feel different than menstrual cramps, to me anyway.

Don't worry girl, we'll get through it! Just have to remain as calm as possible and trust our bodies know what they're doing. :)

  • Thank you, ladies! That makes me feel more at peace. :)  Like I said, I often freak out when it's not necessary. :p
  • I'm with you too! I just got my BFP on Wednesday (14 DPO) and the next day had cramps and lower back/hip pain. It's been a bit better today but still there. I'm a huge ball of anxiety and worry. I almost wish I hadn't gotten my BFP so early.

I'm with you! I found out at 10DPO and, while I'm ecstatic, I also feel like I have that much longer to worry about things! I'm 4w1d and I've been intermittently cramping since about 3w6d.
