Doppler?! BrandS?

Hi there due to a hemorrhage on my placenta I have had bleeding, cramps and clots. The weeks between appointments are horrible!! Does anyone recommend a Doppler? If so what brands, kind etc
Thanks in advance

I only have experience with my Sonoline, but it's been great so far. The first time I used it, I had a full stomach and was probably not searching in the right places. Once I figured out where my son usually hangs out, I am able to find him almost immediately every time I look. I would recommend ordering extra jelly or just getting Aloe Vera Gel if you think you'll be listening a lot. The little tube it comes with doesn't last for too many uses, especially if you need to search around the first few times.

  • Sonoline B is what I have and it works great. My recommendation is similar to what the PP said.

    1) trying looking on an empty stomach and after you've used the washroom
    2) watch youtube videos in advance so you can a) get their advice on where to place the wand  and how to look and b) what you are listening for. The heartrate on the monitor is largely irrelevant so you will need to be able to ignore some sounds and identify the correct sound.

If you are the type of person to freak out if you don't find it, don't get it. I've not been able to find it several times, and waited a week, and found it. Finding it is always a bonus.
