What to do if tested positive for group b strep screen

I tested positive for group b strep screen and I've be freaking out lately. Close to my due date but been very worried :(

    My best friend tested positive, too. She didn't do anything special, they just gave her antibiotics at delivery. Try to relax! Your doctor will take care of you.

    eat garlic or ginger (ginger can cause contractions fyi)

    Yup, like a previous poster stated they will just give antibiotics before the birth while you're in the hospital to decrease the babies risk of getting it during delivery.
