Spotting at almost 14 weeks?!

Has anyone else had spotting later in pregnancy? I had a sub chronic hemorrhage bleeding near the placenta but at the last ultra sound that had cleared up and every time I had spotted with that it was always brown blood now I've been spotting bright red it's not every day but at least once a week and I'm obviously concerned as I miscarriaged at 16 weeks with first pregnancy. This is 4th pregnancy. But I have had good HB and ultrasounds the last being at almost 12 weeks. Do some people just spot all the time?! So stressful!!

    I'd give your doctor a call. My understanding is that a little bit of brown blood isn't necessarily bad, but bright red may mean issues. You might be pushing it too hard.

    It is stressful. I've been consistently spotting, brown and bright red, throughout this pregnancy (I'm 14 weeks). My doctor has been reassuring, but definitely wants to stay in the know of what is happening. So yes, stay in close communication with your doctor. Hang in there, I know it's rough.

    Thanks appointment on Tuesday hope get answers!! Starting progesterone shots in 2 weeks maybe that will help?!

    I was diagnosed with 2 rather large sub chorionic Hemmoraghes at 10 weeks and am now 14w3d. It was bright red blood in the beginning of the diagnosis and is now turned brown. I was told by maternal fetal medicine doc that if the blood turns bright red again the Hemmoraghes aren't healing. I would definitely tell the doc that your blood is bright red.

    This is my first pregnancy and bleeding/spotting for a month straight has been such a scary experience.

    I really hope your bleeding stops soon and your baby is super healthy! Praying for you and your little one.

    I started spotting at 12 weeks 5 days. I am now 13 weeks 2 days. I talked to my midwife and she said that as long as its not a large amount and since she found the heart beat on the Doppler that everything is probably ok. She is sending me to the city for an US tomorrow morning to be sure everything is ok. My spotting still hasn't stopped tho, it has lasted for 4 days now. So it has been hard for me to stay positive and calm cause this is my very first pregnancy and its all so new. My midwife sent me a link about bleeding during pregnancy and I learned that it is quite normal and sometimes there is no reason for it. It said 1 in 3 pregnancies have spotting!! I hope everything works out well for you, take care and what I was told too is relax, rest and don't over do it :)

    Well on Monday I went in and they looked me all over and did ultrasound and couldn't find anything wrong or why I would be spotting then last night I had blood clots totally freaked out and called on call Dr she thinks that last two ultrasound the hemorrhage didn't show up but that it was still there?! For now it has stopped and I m just trying stay positive! Any one else have this happen!? So scary!!

    I went to the doctor this morning for a UTI, super painful. Everything sounded great on the Doppler. Got antibiotics, headed home and peed and there was a ton of red blood on the toilet paper, when I got up... Tons of bright red blood in the toilet. TMI: stuck my finger in my vagina and that's where the blood was coming from (not from peeing), they said in my urine sample there was traces of blood. I freaked out. Made my husband leave work. Called the doctor back and went back to the doctor.

    We just got home and everything with baby, placenta, and cervix looks perfect. In fact, they have no idea where the bleeding is coming from or why. So I'm on bed rest now. They said nothing about a hemmorhage for us... But I know exactly how you feel. Bleeding is super scary at any stage of pregnancy! We are 13 weeks and 1 day today. Hang in there. Take the good news and run with it! Focus on that! Good luck! Prayers and thoughts your way!

    This hemorrhage has got me so anxious blood clots, cramping ughh
    I went in yesterday and they said baby had good heart beat and cervix was closed. So scary I m praying for anyone else dealing with this it makes it hard to carry on! Make matters worse I go to a big office and I feel like every time I go in there see a different Dr they tell me different things! I start progesterone shots soon maybe that will help?!? 14 weeks and 5 days today!

    Progesterone shots? What for? I heard those are only necessary if you are at risk for preterm labor? I'm so sorry you are going through this. Try not to stress and take it easy!

    For us... Bleeding stopped. Still no idea where it came from or why but I'm glad it's done. We saw three doctors three days in a row and the results were all the same... Baby is perfect! Also, they lifted my bed rest! Yay! Just told me to take it easy.
