Which baby girl name would you choose?

We are expecting our first baby June 4, 2016! We are so excited! Please give us a little help to decide on a baby girl name. We already are set on a baby boy name but we are not sure yet on the girl. Thanks! :-)

    I like Jewel. I knew someone named Jewel who had a little girl and named her Jade. I thought that was the coolest thing

    Oh my first name was supposed to June (named after my nana who passed away) but I was born in June and my mama didn't want people to think that's why she named me. So instead I'm Cecilia June however I would love to name my daughter June but then there's the issue of being born in June. (I want her to know it was after her nana) anyways sorry for the long post but I LOVE June. (:

    See, I think that's a silly reason not to use a name you love. Most people she meets won't even know the connection, or care.

    I've got to agree, not a fan of month names if the baby is actually born in that month, just seems weird to me.

    I also love June and it doesn't matter if she is born in June.  My friend Aprile was born in April, I dont think anyone notices until its her birthday LOL.  My favorite was a girl I went to grade school with April May and her birthday was in June.

I have no personal experience with how annoying or not annoying it might be to hear "Oh, you were named June because your birthday is in June" year after year around your birthday for your whole life. I'd imagine it's at least mildly annoying. I'd still use the name of it had a lot of significance to me. If it's just one of three names I like more or less equally, I'd pick a different one or use it as a middle name. But that's just me.

    I'm just so excited that the baby name threads are starting to appear!  Nothing starts more heated conversations than threads like, "Be honest, is Sapphire a hooker name?"

    I worked with an Amethyst for a little while. Her family was...odd. More hippy than hooker.

    June is a lovely name. I'm ok with using it for a June baby. I also like Jade. I went to school with a Jade who was a really pretty girl and very kind. Jewel and Jordan I'm not so keen on. In the UK we have a famous glamour model called Jordan who is only known for getting her boobs out, so I associate it with her!

    I love June and I didn't even correlate the birth month thing. However, if I did put it together when meeting a stranger I might find it odd and wonder if they were named after their birth month. I'd still use it as a middle name and I'm considering it as a middle name actually. Second favorite is Jordan. Jewel just makes me think of the singer.

    DD's middle name is June. We thought about it for a first name. I don't remember really, but she's an April baby, so that might have been why it got bumped to middle name status.

    June reminds me of honey boo boo's mom (how do I remember her moms name???) hahah. But my DHs name is Jordan so I went with that! Sorry I'm probably no help.
