What is your least favourite chore? Do you or your SO have that job? And let's be honest when are you going to use the "I'm pregnant" card to get out of them? Are you already using it?

I hate hate hate taking out the trash, I am guilty of just stuffing the garbage bag and pulling up the side because who ever makes it fall has to take it out! Haha I plan on using the pregnancy card as soon as I get morning sickness as I cannot stand the smell. I also make hubby do the litter box for our cats because you know, pregnant...
folding laundry. As a child, I was the good kid who actually had an evil step mother. She would save up clean clothes for weeks (in a family of 6) until I did the littlest thing like talk back. As a punishment I would have to fold all of the laundry and put it away. It took me hours and I was not allowed to watch tv. So my deal with DH is I will do all of the laundry, he folds and I put everything away. It works out pretty well!

Dusting is my enemy. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats so it needs to be done way more often than I'd like. I wish DH would do it, but he works so much that most of the time it's up to me.
Folding and putting away the laundry. Ugh. I think I dislike it because we really don't have enough closet and drawer space for all our clothes, so when everything is clean and folded, it doesn't all fit!

Mopping the floors. Hate it! I am sahm so chores are just part of my job, that is just how it goes and I am fine with it. DH won't pick up the slack when I am pregnant but also doesn't mind a dirty house so that is what we will do
I used the "I'm pregnant" card to stop cleaning the cat litter box when I was pregnant with DD. That's actually legitimate... but I never started cleaning it again after DD was born.
My least favourite chores are cooking and making DD's lunch for daycare. Luckily DH is super picky and likes to cook so he makes dinner every night, and while he's making his lunch for work he makes DD's as well. I'm totally spoiled in that department.
I can already tell that this pregnancy will be different from DD's - DH completely doted on me last time, and pretty much met my every need. This time he's been calling me out a bit on my ridiculousness and has a lot less sympathy for me (fair enough - full disclosure, I can be a little high maintenance and being pregnant doesn't mean I can't walk into the kitchen to get my own glass of water)
Hate laundry. My husband's idea of "doing laundry" is to put in the washer, move it to the dryer, then make a pile for me to fold/put away...usually 3 or 4 loads at a time. So I put my foot down and told him he's to wash his clothes only. I'm not doing his laundry anymore. Now I have my 4 1/2 year old doing his own laundry for the most part (of course I have to help with the soap and getting the last few pieces from the bottom of the washer).
I hate washing the floors. With a passion. That is DH's one chore he has to do in the house. Since it is my first pregnancy he is spoiling me and its really nice. I have become so lazy at home. Though, last weekend I found a great trick, I worked late Friday night and I told him some friends were coming over so I asked if he could straighten up the house. We ended up meeting them at a bar instead, but he had already cleaned and it was super nice.
I pretty much hate all cleaning except for laundry. The only thing I hate about laundry is having to use quarters to do it (we live in an apartment). However DH isn't the best at cleaning, so if I want it done right, I have to do it myself.
So far the only thing pregnancy has gotten me out of is cleaning the litter box. I have to remind him to do it every night, which is really annoying.
Dishes and the cat box. I have no choice to use the pregnancy card already. Last pregnancy, I had super hot flashes that resulted in me faint in random places and they have already started with this pregnancy. The chores have been quite slow, but SO helps be out big time!

We have a system where almost everything gets hung up and there are 2 baskets in the laundry room for things that dont get hung up. 1 basket is for socks. 1 basket is for underwear and gym pants.
vacuuming - DH
Deep cleaning - me - this includes bathrooms and steaming the floors.
trash - DH
put the bag in the trash - DH (this used to be me but the smell of the can makes me want to hurl)
I'm pulling the pregnancy card on cleaning the shower. We have really hard water and the shower head needs to soak in CLR. oh honey, i cant do it because of the fumes! It's true but it's amazing!!!
I also like having DH do the laundry. It make shim stay upstairs (where the laundry room is) all day and out of my hair!!
