PP Period

I am 6 weeks post partum and stopped bleeding about 2 weeks ago, just had clear discharge in between week 4 and now. I've noticed some spotting starting today and I have felt alittle bit crampy, could this be my first pp period starting?

    It could be, I am close to 8 weeks PP and it started last sat and I just got over it yesterday. I was a bit crampy and same with the light spotting. It was funny bc I was thinking to myself when it wAs going to show up lol

    I was wondering the same think. Im 6 weeks pp and stopped bleedong at 4.5 weeks. For the last week i notice more heavy period like bleeding.

    That was me exactly! I'm 7 weeks now and everything has stopped. Period was like 5ish days, the last few being really light...

    I am 6 weeks PP yesterday, and today I've noticed some bleeding twice this morning. I'm glad others are noticing something similar because at first I was worried and thought maybe something was wrong. It's possible this is just my first PP period though, right? I just started a progesterone only birth control pill four days ago, so I wasn't expecting a period yet until the end of the pack but guess my body decided differently. Does anyone know when it is safe to wear tampons again?

    It could be spotting related to the BC, perhaps.

    As far as tampons I think as long as you were cleared for sex at your 6 week PP checkup then you should be good to go. Might call your OB just to verify though.

    I'm 5 weeks PP after c section and I stopped bleeding a couple of days ago. Since then I have had yellowish discharge and cramps but no bleeding. I'm hoping this cramping is period related and not something to worry about!!

    I'm 6.5 weeks PP/c-section and also just started up heavy period-like bleeding 4 days into taking a progestin only pill. No cramps though. @jadi1215 did you figure out if this was your period?

    Yes, mine was! I called the nurse at my OB's office and she said it is totally normal to have a cycle and for it to start a few days after progesterone only pill. She wasn't concerned with anything I was telling her; she said she would only be worried if I was having severe stomach pain or fever along with bleeding. Without those symptoms there is nothing to worry about. You could always call your doctor's office to check as well though if you have any concerns! I bled heavily from Wednesday-Saturday, then lightly on Sunday and just spotting yesterday. Nothing today. :)

    I'm two weeks (yesterday) into my progesterone only pill and 5 weeks (as of Saturday 11/28) pp. I stopp d bleeding completely for three days and then Sunday I started spotting and yesterday and today I have heavy period like bleeding. I'm positive it is my period. I have mild cramps at times with it. Hopefully it stops soon lol
