Baby girl had her 2 month check up today where she got her shots and they compared her on the charts. Her ped says she's skinny and long (9lbs). Says he's not worried because she is gaining and has regular stool. She is just not within the "normal" range. He told me to feed her more and to shoot for every 2 hours. Idk about you but I already feel like all I do is nurse her. Should I try supplementing a bit once or twice a day? Or should I just come to terms that I'm not giving her enough of what she needs? I don't know if I can do this whole every 2 hours thing. I feel like I will have no life. I'm so torn. I want to continue to bf but I want my baby to be healthy and normal. I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong. I'm beating myself up over it. If any of you have gone through or going through this I would greatly appreciate your insight or advice! TIA!
Re: Is supplementing worth it or should I just throw in the towel?
I would get a second opinion before supplementing, as it sounds like weight is the only indication (no weight loss, hitting other milestones, etc).
