I wanna know the God-awful, cutesy, and vomit inducing pet names you and your SO call each other behind closed doors. The dumber the better. Annnnnnnnd go!
Haha. I thought this was going to be literally about the names of our pets! My dog's name is embarrassing, and it was totally innocent when she was first named!!

But I call DH "Bean" and he calls me "Dear".
Okay, but now I just gotta know you dog's name!
Her name is Stains. When we first got her I had just seen the cutest dog on Animal Planet that could do all sorts of bad a** tricks and so I named her after that dog. Fast forward several months and my brother is visiting, her asks my new dogs name, and I tell him "Stains". He immediately starts cracking up. I didn't get it at first... but.... imagine calling her from across the yard, park, etc....
We just call eachother the typical "babe/baby" normally. However, I love to crochet and DH says it's an old lady activity so when I crochet or do anything craft related he calls me "Betty".
When DD was a newborn we called her "booger". Not sure why it originated. Now it has morphed into "booga/booga boo/boog/boogs"
I call DH "Brussels Sprout" and he calls me "Princess." Brussels Sprout came from a conversation about calling him something that no one likes, just to annoy him...and it stuck.
It started as a joke on a road trip in a country store. We were acting like an old married couple and I yelled "Cmon Cleatus!" Because he kept goofing around. Then he started calling me Mabel. So it became our little Nicknames for each other. I love it! In other relationships we'd always have cutesy names like "honey", but what we have describes our relationship perfectly lol. Good ol' Cleatus and Mabel
Started a looong time ago but DH and I both call each other 'poop' in a cutesy voice. Nobody believes us when we tell them and get slightly offended lol
I also thought this would be about animal names. I'm gonna share mine anyways. Our cat is DK, which stands for Dumpster Kitty. She would literally dumpster dive before we rescued her from our college apartment complex.
We call each other nothing but our actual names. Always. We've been friends since 3rd grade, so maybe that's what makes us different? A pet name would just feel so contrived at this point. Though, when he needs to hurry up (which is all the time, the man is always late) I'll call him just our last name.
I call DH, "Manny," and he calls me, "Girra." They are short for "Mannadeaux" and, "Girradeaux." And...I can't even begin to explain the how or why. So...yeah.

DH and I don't really have names for each other past the occasional sweetie, love and hey you.

Also, I thought this would be about real pets. I once had a white rabbit I called snowy snowball. Cheesy.
