This is a weird question, but I have the hardest time getting a urine sample at the doctors office! Has anyone been able to master it, and if so, what's you're strategy?
If it is getting it in the cup, I recommend holding it as close as you can to your body (without touching) and do a little pee-stream test using those Keigels to stop and check if your cup is in the right place, too far forward, or too far back. Then, just "Let it gooo! Let it gooo!" (Oh, man, I have surpassed cranky and gone right to the cuckoo stage of sleep deprivation...)
If it's getting it into the cup...honestly, practice. Hold the cup as close to you as you can without touching and lean forward. I find leaning forward helps better predict where the pee is going to go. If it's having urine to be able to go, drink water. But frankly, in a couple of months, that won't even matter. There comes a point in pregnancy where you can pretty much go on command. lol
My problem right now is that my doctor's office just switched to these tall, narrow ones. I silly complained about it to my doc and she agreed saying "a man couldn't even hit that." Have I mentioned I love my doctor?

Positioning the cup is what I meant to ask! It's such a project and it's gets all over!!!!
I usually pee on my hand everyyyy time and have now learned not to wear my watch into any appointments.. so I am really no help in this situation but I do enjoy reading everyone's methods. Will have to test them out!
I wish they would let me pee in a cup. I have to pee (for 15 seconds) on a small strip about 3 Inches long and less than a half cm wide . . then put it on a paper towel and hand this thing to the receptionist. She just looks at it and throws it away. Its hard to make sure it's in the stream sometimes when I have a bump growing and my back hurts to bend.
