What foods/smells/things have made you ladies gag? For me, ketchup. I like ketchup, but since about a week after my BFP, I can't stand to look at it. Everything about it grosses me out. Any other weird aversions?
I am the cook in our house and i am struggling getting anything raw cooked. Once it's cooked i'm OK but raw meats are making me gag. ugh, getting nauseated thinking of it!
I turned down chicken & waffles the other day AND I turned up my nose at Red Robin, which is definitely my favorite guilty pleasure. Those herb fries are bomb.
Last pregnancy, it seemed like Hillshire Farms sausage commercials were on tv just to haunt me and make me puke.
Mine are different every day. I am being ruled by an evil overlord of a stomach. I pretty much have to ask my stomach what it will allow me to eat each day because it hates random things. The other day I had to stop scrolling through Pinterest because all the usually amazing looking food pins were making me gag. One picture of a really pretty mac&cheese dish almost sent me over the edge. I love mac&cheese. I also haven't been a huge fan of coffee lately, which is like betraying my soul. I told my DH I feel like this child is going to be a very picky eater based on what it is currently doing to me.

Tomatoes! I usually loveeee tomatoes (the father hates them) so I think that has somethin to do with it lol ! I was trying to eat one and had to spit it out immediately. It made me gag! I was so sad because I really do like tomatoes
This morning, it was my coffee I love my one cup of coffee in the morning, it's my treat. I steam my milk, add a bit of sugar and sprinkle some cinnamon on top. It's delicious. But this morning it made me cringe. This happened last time I was pregnant too - guess I'm switching to tea for a while.
For me it's most cooked meats especially poultry. Turkey is the worst! Worried that I may have to lie and say I have "the flu" on Thanksgiving since I'm not planning to tell any family until Xmas.
@DobbysSock I'm the same way!! I thought I wasn't going to have any weird food aversions because, other than not being hungry at all, no particular food bothered me. Then I made eggs one day and that was it. Now every time I see eggs, smell eggs, or think about eggs, I get sick.
@DobbysSock coffee for me today too...it's bad enough, this child doesn't like any sweets--so no sugar in my one cup, but now the actual coffee tastes bad!! #whatmadethepregnantwomancrytoday
Currently for me.... Culvers. The thought of it makes me nauseous and I LOVE Culvers. Pretty much any food that I think of right now makes me sick to my stomach. It changes Every.Single.Day. I feel sorry for my husband! I am at a total loss of what to cook because everything sounds disgusting.
I can't stand the look or smell of fish or chicken. Every week I go to the market for fresh fish, however, this week I felt sick and faint while waiting my turn. My husband had to chop the head off for me, and the smell of it while roasting in the oven kept me out of the kitchen. He served and ate dinner alone with the kids while I stayed upstairs until the smell went away. No more fish in this house for a LONG time!
All I want to eat are sliced baguettes rubbed with garlic, butter, and fig jam. Never had it before, but loving it now!
I don't even want to think about chicken right now. Also, so many foods. Like, most of it.
I did have a small coffee with almond milk in it today and it made my mouth go numb! I have oral allergies to a few other foods, but this is a new one. Has anyone experienced pregnancy-related oral allergies?
Bagels. Or, really, anything really carby. We just went to dinner and both my salad and entire came with breadsticks. Normally I would have been counting my lucky stars. Today, I gave them to my six year old.
I read this thread and half the food i agree makes me feel sick just thinking about and then the other half I start to crave ! I just want boxed Mac and cheese every day! And eggs dear God get them as far away as possible !
@princessconsuela1986 I'm with you on the pizza. Usually supreme is my favorite but I took one bite and totally gagged! I ended up not eating any pizza and nomming on cheese sticks instead!
Omelets and scrambled eggs.... Holy Molly, I almost puked in the sink cooking DH breakfast. Same thing happened later when came the time to do the dishes that were used for the cooking. I told DH if he wants eggs he's gonna have to take care of it!
Ham. And I know we aren't supossed to have deli meat, but ham in all shapes and sizes. On commercials. Spiral. In a can. On a man lol - it all gags the shit out of me.
Mine change daily. Virtually everything makes me want to gag and then all of the sudden I'll get a craving and be famished and only the thing I crave will do. Milk by itself, as in a glass of milk, makes me gag but put it on cereal (one of the few things I have been able to stomach) and it's ok. Meat in general is just nope.
With my first, my in-laws made the worst thanksgiving dinner ever. It took me a whole year to even thing about turkey and dressing again, and it used to be my favorite. Now for round two, I am wondering how I am even going to get through this holiday. Especially now, since I am cooking and hosting. It seems all I want now are the bad white processed carbs!!

It's just so much! I can't tell if it's an aversion to foods or if I'm just worried about heart burn after eating. I don't ever feel like I experience nausea as much as I have an over active gag reflex. It's terrible. Even when I have insatiable hunger, NOTHING sounds good.

I haven't been craving sweets either which is weird. I have a king size reese's cup in the fridge that I haven't touched in days!!

Re: Weird Food Aversions?
Other than that I don't have much of an appetite.
