hopping over from IF for some success stories for frozen 6 day blasts

Hi Ladies - 

So I pray someday I'll be able to join you, but for now, I'm stuck with disappointing news. I just found out they cancelled my transfer for today. None of my 10 embryos were ready. I have 2 compact, 2 early blastocyst, and 6 cellular. The embryologist wants to see the early blasts continue to blast and hopefully the 2 compact will as well. If they do, we will freeze tomorrow and have our FET in mid December. 

Anyone have success stories with 6 day FET? 

TIA for any success stories or information!

    yes. I transferred a 5 day and a 6 day blast and I am only 8 weeks but so far- both have stuck :)

    Me 36/DH 46 Me: Low AMH (.21) DOR, mild endo; Started seeing RE 11/12
    Jan-March '13 3 IUIs Clomid + Trigger = BFN
    April '13 IVF 1 MDLF converted to 4th IUI due to 3 runaway follicles! BFN
    July/Aug '13 IVF 1.2 Long Lupron = 7R, 6F, 2T= BFP!!!
    Beta 1=512, Beta 2=1,368 Beta 3= 4,128
    It's a boy!!!!

    I am not sure how different a 5day blast is from a 6, but I have a happy healthy one year old who was a frozen 5 day transfer.

    started first IVF cycle Menopur and Follistim 10/13
    ER 11/4/13
    13 E 8 fertilized 
    5dt 1 blast 5 frozen 11/9/13. 9 day wait w progesterone (Crinone gel) 11/18 BFP! 30 11/20 down to 10 11/22 MC confirmed. 12/11-FET # 1: 2 5 day blasts 12/20: BFP! Beta 1: 396 12/23: Beta 2:1666 12/30: first u/s: twins! 1/7: baby a heartbeat: 117bpm baby b: slower development, heart's beating but too small to hear it.

    My only sticky BFP was with a frozen day 6 blast.
    TTC #1 Since 4/2010, Cycle 30
    Positive for HLA-B27, I'm a mutant :p
    Testing - Me ok, gluten issue? DH - borderline count, low motility
    4/28/11 IUI#1 = BFP!(5/25), EDD 2/2/12 - m/c 5w3d
    7/3, 7/31, 9/25 - IUI#2-4=BFN
    IVF#1 - 1 blast = BFP!! (12/30), EDD 9/9/12, confirmed c/p 4w2d
    FET#1 3/2/12 - 2 blasts =BFP!! EDD 11/18/12, us#1 = twins! Confirmed m/c 5w6d
    4/20-surprise BFP and another c/p 4w2d
    FET#2 7/16/12 - 2 blasts = BFN
    FET#3 8/20/12 - 1 blast - BFP!! Beta #1-2=177, 354

    My lab has high success with D6 blasts. My "slowest" embies are my living children. My "fastest" embies were all abnormal or failed cycles. My living children on D5 were morula and cellular = D6 4BB and early blast = LIVING. My failed cycles were all D5 early blasts = D6 5AA, 5AA & 5AC = FAILED. At my clinic 5AA is the optimal blast, uh, not for me. For me "below average" is perfection.

    Thank you so much for all of your replies. I don't get on the bump often enough. It's great to hear some of you had success with a frozen day 6 blast. Fingers crossed for my FET in a couple weeks.

    My 6 day frozen embie just turned 2 earlier this month.

    I do! I couldn't have a fresh transfer after my IVF last November due to OHSS. So I had an FET in early January with a 6 day embryo. Now my daughter is 3 months. I know waiting can be hard. Good luck!

    Update! I transferred 2 day 6 blasts on 11/30 and am currently 5 weeks! I go in on Thursday for my 1st ultrasound! Thanks again for all your support!
