the flu or just bad pregnancy symptoms

in 1st Trimester
So I just found out for sure I'm 5 weeks 3 days pregnant :) well yesterday after my ultrasound I got a massive migraine that lasted all day and night I threw up twice was extremely weak and today it has continued I called into work becuase I'm just so tired and nausous Idk if I'm have the flu or its just this pregnancy this time around iv never felt like this during pregnancy before. I have no fever or anything I'm just a mess I have alot going on with life right now that's stressful maybe that's the cause? Idk help mommas

    No fever = no flu

    ETA: feel better soon but nausea is normal and headaches could be caused by the hormones being developed. If you're stomach is severely upset, call your doc. Also if it is a migraine, migraines can also cause nausea (at least they do for me).

    Influenza doesn't cause vomiting in adults, only in children. Also, like PP said, influenza causes a high fever, no fever means it isn't the flu. It sounds like early pregnancy symptoms to me. Feel better soon

    Congratulations! I'm 5w2d not having any many symptoms and it scares me. Just feeling tired and sore breasts. Can I have some of your symptoms, so I know this is real? :)

    Be careful what you wish for! I wanted symptoms so badly at 5 weeks. Mid 5 weeks/early 6 weeks they really set in and now I just wish I was out of first trimester already (8w5d right now). Don't stress if they don't set in, 15% of women get through the first trimester without morning sickness.

    Seriously, be careful what you wish for. I was sick as hell for 6 months straight and it started right around 6 weeks or so.
