For being due in May?? (In the spirit of almost Thanksgiving)
I am thankful I'm due in May bc I am going to bypass the hot and humid southern months being pg, I'm in my 2nd tri during the holidays when I enjoy food the most, it's not bathing suit season (WHEW!), it won't be freezing when LO gets here so I won't be too worried about LO getting cold, there's more to do outside with DD (like go to the park or go swimming) so she's not couped up inside with a fussy new baby, MIL will be out of school for the summer so she will help with DD a lot...
I had DD in March so I love spring babies!

Been married since 2009.
Unicornuate Uterus (yes I menstruate glitter)
Several MCs
DD born 2013 (our miracle "you can't have babies" baby!)
Re: GTKY: Why Are You Thankful
I've always wanted a spring baby! I'm thankful for being due in May because hopefully all the extra baby weight will keep me warm over the cold winter months instead of feeling overheated in the summer months. I'm thankful to celebrate this baby with my family over this holiday season and possibly bring a newborn to my family's Memorial Day cookout. I'm thankful that my amazing MIL will be off school right about the time baby is born and will be helpful and may even be willing to watch baby a couple times a week as I'm transitioning back to work. And just in general for the spirit of the season, I'm incredibly thankful for my family - they are amazing and supportive and equally excited for baby!
I hate our heat - I get cranky and it's awful.
And winter clothes are so much cuter!
Also thankful for this thread. All of the feels.
-Summer birthday parties (my 1st is a December baby)
-Giving birth before my birthday in June
-Avoiding being 9 mos pregnant in Houston during the hottest and most humid months
DS: Born 5-17-16
Married in 2011
Baby 1: Stillborn at 27 weeks (April 2014)
Baby 2: Due May 2016
I'm also thankful to tell all our family this coming weekend. They knew about the risks and to share it with them in person is more than I could hope for. God is good.
I honestly think this is the best 9 months of weather to be pregnant in the Northeast we get a mild first tri, holiday-filled second tri, and deliver in the best part of spring before the humidity kicks in. I am thankful for the forgiving fashions of fall and winter. I am so, so thankful to be pregnant during the holidays. The whole thing just gives me all the feels.
Unrelated to the timing, I am thankful for my amazing husband who has been so supportive and interested in every step of my pregnancy. I am thankful for our adorable fur babies. Honestly, I have no idea how I got to be so lucky.
ALL THE FEELS.
Finally, I'm thankful to be pregnant during FOOD SEASON! I'm even thankful we are having twins, although that part was not planned at all!
