I didn't have the flu, but I had a really bad cold that lasted about three weeks. My doc said I could take Tylenol, which helped with the sore throat and kept the fever down. I could also take Unisom to help get to sleep at night... but nothing else. I was lost without my Theraflu and Nyquil.
Make sure you're keeping hydrated - lots of water and soup!
Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. The flu is a much more serious condition and you would need to seek medical attention right away if it was the actual flu.
You definitely need to talk to your doctor. If it truly is the flu there are antivirals your doctor can prescribe for you that will mitigate the symptoms and hopefully keep you out of the hospital. Good luck and feel better!
Definitely call and talk to either your doctor or a nurse at the practice. Even if it's just a stomach bug and not the flu, dehydration is more likely (and dangerous) in pregnant women since our blood volume is so much higher than normal. They'll likely recommend lots of rest, fluids/soup and whatever toast/crackers you can keep down but they'll also be able to tell you what symptoms mean it's time to head to the ER for IV fluids etc. If you do go in somewhere, check near the entrances for the cheap surgical masks (our hospital and clinics keep them with the hand sanitizer things) or don't feel silly asking for one - for both your sake and the other patients. Feel better!
If you have the flu, you need to go to a dr Asap. If it's not the flu, it's probably a good idea to get a flu shot Asap, it's not too late (but you have to wait until you aren't sick with a fever)

I'm just getting over a nasty virus. Tylenol for the fever, and plain Mucinex for congestion, plus peppermint tea and some menthol cough drops is how I handled it, plus lots and lots and lots of fluids (orange juice and herbal teas, mostly). If you do, indeed, have influenza, please get to a doctor right now. Dh and I had it a couple of years ago, and we refer to it as "that time we almost died from the plague". It's a serious thing.

Theraflu is on the list of approved meds that my Dr. gave me. It gets so confusing when something one person is told is okay is something that another was told not to take.

You more than likely have a cold, which is also a bummer but not as bad as the flu. Here is a list of what you can take while pregnant. https://www.babycenter.com/0_chart-over-the-counter-medicine-during-pregnancy_1486462.bc
I am surprised your OB hasn't given you a list of safe medications or at least even mentioned some.

My ADVICE is to ADVISE you to call your doctor.
