While many of us are new moms, let's share something you've learned that has helped you in the process now that baby is on the outside.
This may be a duh, but I learned that when baby wakes to eat, to change his diaper before you feed him every time. I made the mistake of not doing so only to realize it was pretty full after he FINALLY fell asleep during nursing. I changed him and he was wide awake again and upset if I tried putting him down. It was a very long night.

Finally, I am learning to be satisfied with a new definition of "productive". I refuse to feel guilty for not getting things done...I am feeding and taking care of a little human who needs me. That's very productive!

Absolutely! I second that !
Totally agree. My house is a disaster but the baby is fed, clean and happy. I have been cooking using my crockpot more and am just trying to stay afloat.
