Feeling kicks in my lady bits??

So I'm 20 weeks pregnant with my 1st baby and have been feeling this weird feeling down there. I haven't felt any movement or kicks in my stomach but feel this weird sensation like something is moving around near my vagina; feels like a balloon rolling around in there about to burst out of me!! Could this be the baby? I'm not sure what baby kicks or movement is supposed to feel like.

  • Well since you are not carrying the baby in your vagina I would say it is most likely not baby kicks. Though the baby can feel like it's kicking your cervix so maybe that's what is happening and your body is just interpreting it in a strange way? I have wierd feelings in my vagina too sometimes, I think it's just part of everything stretching out - lots of growing happens in the second tri
  • My LO is getting pretty active, and when she kicks me low it does pretty much feel like its in my lady bits lol! She is sitting low anyway so when i feel her move, it sometimes puts alot of pressure there, similar to what you are saying so maybe it is your LO. as PP said though its not actually in the vagina its just very low in the abdomen so if you are feeling it right there then probably not baby.
  • I am carrying this baby lower than any of my others, I joke to my husband that it feels like a foot or arm is gonna pop out of there if it kicks or hits any harder! I am currently 24+ weeks so I imagine this is going to get worse.
  • Yes ! It's gone from front kicks to "low" jabs ! I don't like it !! But atleast I know she's moving around
  • Cervix kicks. They're uncomfortable :(

  • More hilariously referred to as lightning crotch

My little one's favorite place to punch and kick is my cervix. At least it's just weird and slightly uncomfortable at this point...I do not look forward to what that's going to feel like in another month.

When I feel my LO it is usually pretty low and almost feels like it is in my vagina. I must be carrying him lower than DS1 because I don't remember them being that low with him.

  • I feel everything low, and was shocked that at our anatomy scan baby was head down.  Not sure if baby is headbutting me or what, but it is interesting.

  • Baby kicks to the cervix are no fun! Mine likes to curl up and then suddenly sprawl out down there. Lots of pressure, feeling like I'm going to pop, not so fun.
  • I get jabs now and then throughout the day. They are more surprising than anything! It's funny, every time he starts moving and I put my hand on my stomach, he stops. Very stubborn, like dad lol.
  • I think that's what I'm feeling LOL. It feels like someone is super quickly poking the other side of my cervix repeatedly until I move into another position lol strangest feeling ever. Ha I've never carried low so this is all new!
  • I thought it was gas but now that I think about it my baby girl is active when I'm in resting mode and I feel that sometimes.. Haha

Same!! It took DH forever to feel any movement because as soon as I'd put his hand on my stomach LO stopped kicking, only to resume as soon as DHs hand was gone. I also keep trying to listen to his heartbeat with a stethoscope, even had my mom try to find it (she's a nurse) and he must be laying with his back to my back, which makes it impossible to hear his heart. Oh well, he can't hide from the Doppler at our appointment in a week!!
