Do any of you ladies have any suggestions for a bottle warmer for breast milk? I use a Medela pump and Medela bottles so the warmer would need to fit those. Thanks in advance!
You might want to see if your baby will just take cold milk. I mostly pump but do nurse every day too. Baby will take cold or body temp and doesn't care! One less "baby thing " taking up counter space!
We have the Kiinde. So far we only gave LO 2 bottles, one from the freezer and one from the fridge and both got warmed up nicely. It's easy to use, no complaints so far.
I just run frozen breast milk under hot water. Bottle warmers can get hot spots. Like the previous poster said, it's one less thing on the counter for us.
I also read that bottle warmers can kill some of the nutrients in breast milk, especially when warming from frozen. I'd rather just warm under running water.
We use the Kiinde Kozii, it's awesome! I also use Medela bottles, I exclusively pump and give him a bottle (won't latch). I bought the Kiinde gift set for $99 but if you don't want that, it's definitely worth the $69 in my opinion.
Love my Kiinde Kozii! It has a chart for warming times for all different kinds of containers and temperatures (room temp, fridge, frozen). It also uses a continuous flow of warm water so there aren't any hot spots! I've used it with 4 different types of bottles, and storage bags and they all worked great!
