Getting ready for Christmas?!!

I am a FTM. I am announcing to the families on Thanksgiving but all I can think about is getting ready for Christmas!!! It's my favorite time of the year anyway but with my little one inside it just feels so much more special, and I should be showing around Christmas, I'm at 11weeks now. It just makes this time of the year seem even more special and exciting!! I can't wait to decorate the whole house with my wittle baby helping me along the way :) All i do is picture next year when i have my baby in my arms at Christmas time and all the things i want to do! Anyone else even more excited for Christmas this year?!

    YES! I'll be pulling out my decorations this weekend :wink: I also agree, we will have an adorable 6-7 month old baby next year if all goes right.... That's exciting in itself!

    Yeah, I'm also a FTM and I've been really miserable (8 weeks -- feeling rough) and anxious. Christmas stuff is about the only thing that has been cheering me up lately. I think we'll decorate earlier than usual this year. Christmas is also my favourite holiday. It will be so weird spending it sober though!

    Yes! I think we will start decorating this weekend too. I love Christmas and am ridiculously excited for decorating this year, and imagining how different it will be next year!

    @catherinekate I'm right there with you. It feels a little odd to be spending the holiday sober.

    Me too! I just can't wait....also I am counting down to second tri...

    I won't decorate until after Thanksgiving otherwise I feel like I am cheating but I did already want Elf =)

    I've never decorated pre-Thanksgiving but have been thinking about cheating and doing it this weekend! Laziness will likely win out though so I'm not too worried. :)

    Glad I'm not the only one thinking about how old baby will be this time next year. Just a few weeks ago I was trying to think up original Halloween costumes for 4-5 month olds - I thought I was just being weird.

    Yes! I love Christmas and I am dying to get the house all decorated! DH says I have to wait until after Thanksgiving to put the tree up.  I just love everything Christmas and decorating and seeing family.  I cannot wait!

    ME ME ME!!!! I'm so excited and this year DH has that whole holiday week off so it's gonna be our first time when we will both be free to really enjoy our last quiet holiday. Lol

    Me too!! I love Christmas! It's my favorite time of the year, I love everything about it! We decorated last weekend, even though I left a thanksgiving sign up on the front door. Have both holidays going lol. I can't wait for next year when we'll have a baby to celebrate with!

    I'm obsessed with Christmas. It is SO much more fun with a baby in the picture! Having a 6-month-old baby at Christmas next year will be super adorable.

    This year my older baby will be 20 months and so this will be the first Christmas where she sort of knows what's going on and gets into it. I'm excited! And we'll be announcing the pregnancy right before Christmas so that will make the celebration extra exciting :)

    Already decorated & husband says the same thing. Can't wait to get our tree!!!

    Started Xmas crafts and movies with 3yo already...he is at such a fun age for it! Will decorate probably next weekend and do the tree the weekend after :)

    I can't bring myself to put the tree up until December, but I started watching Christmas movies the day after Halloween. We're going to have alllll my siblings and cousins and allll our kids together this year, and it's going to be a madhouse. I'm so excited.

    I absolutely love Christmas and it just gets better each year as the kids get older. I have been pregnant every other Christmas since 2009, LOL! But this is suppose to be my last pregnancy :(
    I am normally very strict about no Christmas things, decor,movies, music, etc. until December 1st, but each year I lose more and more of my restraint. 
    Last year we got our tree the day after thanksgiving and this year I've been watching Hallmark Christmas movies for weeks!!

    We are announcing on Christmas day(gah, it feels so far away :(  ) so i'm insane excited about it!!!
