Is this common or..?¿

So I've been having some weird patches pop up on my neck since about 7 weeks pregnant. They were brown at first but now they honestly look kind of gray. I've been told it's probably pregnancy mask, not to worry. But it isn't just skin discoloration it's patches of super tough skin. I've looked all over the Internet to try and figure out what it may be or if it's pregnancy related but I have found nothing. At first I wasn't worried about it but it's getting much more noticeable and spreading. I'm embarrassed and refuse to even wear my hair up. Does anyone have any clue what I could be experiencing?

    Could it be fungus? Sounds gross but I has it on the back of my neck years ago.

    If you tried, would you be able to peel it off? It kinda sounds like psoriasis, but I'm not a doctor. My psoriasis patches can be pulled off (so gross, I know) and the skin underneath will I would get it checked out to be sure.

    I had the same thing on my back this summer. Dr had me rub in selsum blue shampoo twice a day for a week and it went away. It was a fungus from laying out tanning in humid weather. Dunno if it's the same thing but it sounds like it

    Thank you for the responses! I've tried to peel it but it won't come off. Will definitely speak to my doctor.
