Well I literally just had a hormonal melt down because I want my son's room to be done.
My husband has this huge work project that has forced me to be very patient waiting for him to do things.
Shelves are sitting in our babes room because his drill battery died.
Him and his dad are building the crib and it is still not complete.
Car seat is sitting in the car uninstalled.
I feel like I'm going insane. I just want to have books on his shelves and his crib all done in his room.
I don't know what to say to my husband to get him to get this shit done!! Due in two weeks and I feel this huge need to have everything ready by now.
Doesn't help when your husband is laughing as you are having a hormonal melt down telling you it will get done.
I want it all done NOW.
Wish I had learned to gif so I could post a good one in this post.
Re: When you can't nest
They are literally building the crib not assembling it.
Wish I wasn't so frusturated.
Everything needed is ready (bassinet, changing table). It's just my wants that aren't done.
Deep breaths it will happen just not on our time table. Loving all this lack of control... NOT
Intellectually, of course you know, it's all going to be ok. But emotionally I can toooootally relate
To complicate matters further, it looks like we will be buying a house and moving when LO is 1-2 months old. So I'm going to have to do it all over again! It's all very frustrating, and I feel your pain PPs. I have been consoling myself with cleaning. Lots and lots of cleaning. We've probably never lived in such a clean place before LOL
-I seriously could have written this!!
Just moved to a new state...living in a one bedroom while looking for a house! I keep wanting to nest but scan the Internet for houses our agent may have missed and clean instead!
I am too impatient though and always want it done asap so if he can't help i rally up another family member (my parents are great!)
Hopefully you get it done ☺ try not to stress
