Hostess Baby Shower Gifts

My money is limited, what are appropriate gifts for my hostesses? Is a heartfelt thank card enough right after the shower? If I have a piece of jewelry I never wear, but feel she may could I box and wrap that? I have a Bath and Bodyworks obsession and have some unused product in my home, could this be good?

    I'm limited on funds as well..,
    I was thinking about making an DIY body scrub ( most of the ingredients are already in my kitchen - sugar, olive oil... The only thing I need is essential oils which my mom has)
    You can Pinterest or Google DIYs.

    I wouldn't do the old jewlery..
    But, bath and body works UNUSED things would be great.

    No shame in having to cut back on things.

    Diy body scrub is what I did.
    A mixture of brown sugar, granulated sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin spice and coconut oil.

    I made sharpie mugs for my hostesses with their names on them - Grammy W, Grandma L, Auntie E. I Just bought mugs from the dollar store, wrote on with a sharpie and baked in the oven. They turned out great and will be making a few more for Christmas presents!

    Personally, I'd rather receive a Starbucks gift card and a really nice card, or I saw somewhere on the board that they bought cute umbrellas for the hosts. You can almost never go wrong with a bottle of wine or flowers too. I just threw a shower for my best friend and she got me bath salts from Lush, and a cute baby outfit from a nice boutique in town. Funds may be limited but keep in mind all the money you are saving by this person throwing you a shower (all the baby things you won't need to I buy). Also, showers are really expensive and time consuming to throw, so showing your appreciation is important.
