What to get LO for holidays?!

Hi! The baby's will be so young they won't know any better this holiday season. What will you all get your LO for the holidays? I was thinking books and maybe her toddler car seat she will need.
Maybe a couple of 6 month toys but not sure what yet.

Any suggestions?

Nothing lol. They will get so much from the grandparents and won't remember it anyways. The most we will do is a stocking, a family tradition, and maybe buy diapers if he's in need of them.

We're a little obsessed and over the top I guess you could say. We just purchased our first house this past month so we want to break in the new back yard by getting DS a playground set. A little early, but I think he will enjoy the swing soon (ish) and much earlier before next Christmas!

We will probably get lo some bath toys since that's all that's lacking in the toy dept thanks to my mom.

DH's dad is notoriously over the top with gifts so the few things they 'need' (a wagon, a few older baby toys that I picked out) I am sure will be bought by the grandparents. We're getting them stockings with some small toys I think they will like and we'll make a good deposit into their college savings account.

We're looking into an activity mat/gym, some bath toys, warm footie pj's, and some teething toys. Also a stroller fan since we plan to make a Disney trip in 2016.

I'm buying the next size clothes he needs. Sippy cups, bibs, and one new toy. I have to have something for him because otherwise his big sister will wonder why Santa didn't bring him anything.

So mostly boring but practical. Those are really the only things we need that didn't survive his sister's infancy.

Nothing- she gets the gift of sucking on my boob every 3-4 hours! I'm sure most gifts for us will be mostly for her though, from the grandparents

We haven't really talked about what we'll get him as parents but we're trying to start "something to they want, something they need, something to wear, and something to read" so grandparents don't show up with 8 million toys or 8 million gifts. And since we're hosting Thanksgiving this year, I've got that list started since I'm sure inquiring minds will want to know. They can fight over what to get him.

I initially said I wasn't getting much for him but going to the city shopping changed that pretty quick. He's getting a few toys, a high chair, and clothes for sizes 9-18 months. He's almost already in 6 month clothing so I'm sure he will keep outgrowing sizes quick. My mom has already bought him a bunch of toys, clothes, and she's also planning on getting him an exersaucer. He's not going to know that he's getting completely spoiled !! Lol

Well, she has two older brothers that are 8 and 4 so she has to get things from Santa and all that jazz. I plan on stuffing her stocking with diapers and white onesies and lotion and wipes....things I will need to buy anyway. Between the other two I spend enough so I am taking full advantage of her first Christmas by not spending a lot! So I'm thinking the light up musical walker toy and the Sofia Giraffe teether toy are all I'm going to do.
