3rd Trimester

Nauseous at 37 weeks. Anyone else?

I've been feeling like 1st trimester nauseous since 4 pm this afternoon. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm sure I'm fine but I don't know if it's connected to labor or not. I've had mild BHC but not bad. I know it's nothing I ate because my husband and I ate the same things today. Advice please.

Re: Nauseous at 37 weeks. Anyone else?

  • I felt nauseous most of my pregnancy. While it tapered off in the 3rd trimester, there were times I felt so full it made me nauseous. I suggest relaxing, gingerale, etc. Until you have real contractions (and you'll be able to tell), I wouldn't worry.

  • I never got nauseous until 32 weeks. Baby is breech and I think her head is putting too much pressure on my stomach, causing reflux and nausea
  • I've started to feel nauseous in the morning now, and I didn't get MS. It's probably due to me being hungry, tired and DD pushing up on my stomach (she hasn't dropped yet, I don't think). Eating small meals has helped
  • 36 weeks and having MS since week 34 ish. I also have been having BHC which are becoming more consistent and painful. Maternity ward told me to start timing and monitoring.
  • Welcome to my party... My morning sickness never left :(
  • 38 weeks here and been nauseous since 35 weeks. Baby is running out of room and stomach is compressed which could be why. Try eating smaller meals. It's so annoying because even drinking too much water makes me nauseous.
  • I'm at 34+6, and have been throwing up since I was 29 weeks. I had horrible MS the first trimester. My sickness is due to severe sinus drainage. I get nauseous, and I throw it all up. Or I get nauseous, and I don't throw up. It's not fun! I eat in small portions, and try to keep plenty of fluids on me. But with sinuses, there isn't much I can do!
  • Yep. This is baby #3 and my first time experiencing third trimester nausea. What a jip! It comes and goes at least and isn't constant like it was in my first trimester. I just can't wait to be done with this!

  • My mom said that with myself and my sisters, she started to get sick/nauseated again towards the end of each pregnancy.  Her doctor had told her it was a drop in hormones that cause the morning sickness at the beginning of pregnancy.  I didn't experience a return of MS symptoms with my first, but I did throw up a few times towards the end of my pregnancy with explosiveness due to heartburn and getting too full.

Sorry for the return of a very unfun symptom :(
  • I just posted about this Sunday. I was super exhausted and nauseous. Which is not normal for me, I even slept thru the night before. Last night I went into labor but I'm not dilated enough so they sent me home. But every momma is different.
