1st Trimester

8weeks and 6 days pregnant no symptoms excepto for soore breasts

I'm really sacred, never had sickness or any noticeable symptoms apart from my soore breasts, at 6.5 weeks went for a scan and the baby was looking good with a heart beat, now I'm worried because I don't feel anything at all so I don't know how is the baby.. I have suffered a missed Miscarriage 4 months ago.. :( anyone with similar stories.. Positive outcome... Please

Many women experience a lack of symptoms and have perfectly healthy pregnancies. Symptoms do not indicate a healthier pregnancy than no symptoms. If everything was good at your last scan, just do your best to trust that no symptoms does not mean anything negative. Sorry about your previous miscarriage. Good luck!

    Thank God for Raid.

  • 15% of women simply don't experience morning sickness, its entirely possible that you are in that group. I can't give much help from my own experience but I found out that my mother was among that 15% that had no symptoms. Considering I am now here pregnant with my own child, I would say that is a positive outcome. Best of luck, try not to stress and remember that an overwhelming majority of pregnancies produce happy, healthy babies.
  • I don't see the problem here... It's a good thing you don't have a lot of symptoms yet.
  • I'm 7w1d with my first, I gave the same symptom profile you have described. I have my first appointment later today, but I'm sure we will both have healthy pregnancies :)
  • In addition to what everyone else said....symptoms can change day to day. Just because you're feeling great today doesn't mean you couldn't wake up nauseous tomorrow. I don't say that to be negative, but to highlight that symptoms or no symptoms truly doesn't mean anything. It's hard not to worry about every little thing but try to trust the process as much as you can!

Symptoms mean absolutely nothing for the health of your pregnancy. I felt great with my pregnancy with DD. I felt ok with DS. I felt sick as a dog with every symptom imaginable with my two miscarriages. Its not an indicator of anything.

I know you are trying to be uplifting, but please don't do this during pregnancy. You can't know or "be sure" about anyone's pregnancy. Things like this can really hurt.

As PPs have said, a lack of symptoms does not indicate a problem. I'm almost 23 weeks and I feel quite fantastic and have for most of the pregnancy :)
