I've posted this on the csection board. Just trying to reach more people.
I'm trying to decide if I should have a repeat c section or a vbac. I feel like the csection would just be easier but I'm concerned now that I have a toddler at home. I've heard women heal within days of a vaginal delivery. For those who went through with the csection, was it difficult post op with your toddler at home? Thanks.

1. Telling my twin 2 year olds that mommy can't hold them for 6 weeks will be hell.
2. Even though my first recovery was a breeze, doesn't mean the second will be.
3. Vaginal birth is less risky for me AND baby AND is better for baby's overall health.
4. I want the experience of a vaginal birth.
I would have attempted a vbac but I am having twins, the the time between my surgeries have been super short and I have a major issue with strep b. I have already had a vancomycin infusion (which you would normally just get before delivery to knock it out) except it doesn't get rid of mine. I cannot risk that being passed on to the babies.
It is going to be really hard balancing the newborn twins and my 12 month old DD but we are just going to bed to get help from family and my DH is taking 2 weeks off
