Hi ladies,
I just wanted to post a little introduction as I join this community and hope to meet and support others who are going through infertility issues.
A little background: I am 27 and my husband is 28, we have no children and we have been TTC for 8 months. I have recently found out that I am anovulatory and will be starting clomid plus HcG injections to get those eggs on the move. I consider myself extremely lucky to have found this out, a) at this age, and b) so early on in the TTC process. The reason it was caught is that I have one ovary which sits on my back, so I've had to keep an eye on everything closely as its position could lead to increased chance of ectopic pregnancy, if I were to ovulate out of that one.
I was monitoring everything monthly and not getting positives on ovulation tests, and to be honest, I felt something was wrong. So now that it's confirmed I can move on and be grateful that I have the opportunity now to actually have a shot at it!
My husband and I live abroad and so, although I'm positive about the plan, I can feel quite isolated being away from all my friends and family, but even more importantly I would like to be part of a community where other people are dealing with the same or similar issues.
We start the first month of treatment in one week and I look forward to learning lots from people here and hopefully helping others on here too.
Julianna xx

@oxinfree and @emsmama15 thanks for the heads up about the rage!
I had my initial scan this morning and she kept describing my right ovary as "dangerous" and the other as "totally inactive" so I didn't feel massively encouraged after that meeting. She's worried about too many eggs from the "dangerous" one affecting the cycle but I guess we just go ahead and see what happens in a week. I asked her if by "dangerous" she meant "good" because to me good-looking follicles is good news, but she once again corrected me with "dangerous" so that was nice.
Anyway! Thanks again for the support ladies!
