So at night my arms, hands, and fingers get so numb! I know that's all normal being almost 2 weeks from due date.. but is it normal to feel like there's a huge rubber band around my shoulder/armpit making my arms feel weird throughout the day too? (That's the only way I know how to describe it)
Re: Swelling question:
Do you text/use your phone lying down in bed a lot before bed? I stopped and that helped a lot.
They note that even though it's both whole arm and one leg for me it's worse from the elbow down and pinky/ring finger, and its also due to doing ultrasound work (a pinch grip and tight shoulder) and I've had to be super careful to rest it and lift light weights/stretch.
I'm leaving a little early from work though before baby so I don't tempt injury.
I hope all is cleared and you're told things are ok. Please keep us posted.
Doctors want to know about any change in bp even if it's not yet in the danger zone because pre-e and hypertension can happen suddenly and cause serious complications.
Keep an eye out for facial swelling, vision changes and pitting edema- those are signs you need to head to L&D asap.
