I'll be 17 weeks Monday and I feel like my bump isn't as big. Also I do t feel as bloated or hungry or even sick when I AM hungry. My appointment is Monday but is this normal?
If I were in your shoes I would call my doctor. Explain you are concerted and hopefully they will see you. In fact, I would insist on it if I had to. Good luck.
Well, you are in second tri, a lot of those symptoms like morning sickness and exhaustion etc, often lessen or maybe even completely subside. Not for everyone of course. Maybe part of why you feel like you have less of a bump is because you aren't as bloated. I would try not to worry too much, but there is never any shame in calling your OB if you have a concern and need some reassurance. They are after all the experts. Do you have a doppler at home you could use to try listening to baby? If not your provider might have you go in for just a quick visit to listen.
I shouldn't think you would have anything to worry about. I don't feel hungry like I did in the early weeks and no longer get sick when I am hungry. It may just be your hormones leveling out? Definitely call your doctor though if you are concerned, to give you peace of mind.
If you don't have any cramping or bleeding I would honestly try and enjoy the reprieve of symptoms. You might have eaten less of something to make you feel less bloated and your bump might look smaller because some of it still might be bloat. Call your doc if you are worried but I wouldn't fret too much. I've been going through the same thing and my Doc apt is on Tuesday.
If it's only been a day or two - id chalk it up to a couple good days! I go back and forth between good days and a bit crappier days (though improvement from the first trimester)! I bet you won't feel comfortable until you talk to your doctor, so give them a call or at least try to relax a bit this weekend and bring it up at your appointment
18 weeks today I'm in the same boat, I haven't really felt "pregnant" in weeks (MS subsided at 9 weeks and bloating at 11- I got off pretty easy I think) LO checked out fine at 11 weeks. My belly is slowly expanding (despite no weight gain at all yet- maybe 2 pounds) and I'm in quarter panel pants for comfort only (my jeans would fit but are tight so why fight it). I'm having a little round ligament pain but other than that I feel awesome (sorry to all those out there who are still not feeling great). I wouldn't worry, but if it's giving you stress by all means call to your ob or midwife. I'm sure we're just luckily to have an easy few weeks
I am 16 weeks. I have finally felt better the last two weeks or so other than some headaches. I am back to eating three meals and not needing to snack constantly. I have energy again. I'm not craving anything. I can drink my favorite Starbucks beverage again. It's strange, because I get it - it makes you worried that you no longer feel pregnant like you did in the first trimester - but it's so nice to feel semi-normal! I'm trying to remember the second trimester is supposed to be better - the reprieve you need before all the crazy stuff that happens to you in the third trimester. However, that being said, if you feel something is not right you have to listen to your gut and call!
Thank you ladies!! I called my doc just to be on the safe side and she said exactly what you all said about the second trimester! Phew! So I feel much better! In more ways than one
I haven't felt pregnant either, but my Doppler is an awesome reminder that baby is still there! My doc warned me that I would feel normal on second tri ( and I already had very very minimal symptoms in first tri anyways).
Yeah it's amazing how much bloat makes us feel pregnant! When I wake up in the morning, I feel like my bump is so small, and by end of day in like suddenly 7 months pregnant. I'm glad your doctor agrees. Enjoy the non-sickly bloat-free time!

I use mine, too, for this reason! Though I am feeling definite flutters now, but they are few and far between usually.
