Medication at 33 weeks

I have had a series of BV during my pregnancy , I am now in my third trimester (33 weeks) and have been prescribed metronidazole flagyl as before ... I've read that it isn't harmful to unborn baby ! Is this true ? This is my first pregnancy and every little thing concern or worry me lol

    It's better to get treatment than to risk the baby get infected. Plus it's category B prescription with an extensive safety database

    I've taken it twice. Do you honestly think you would have been prescribed it if it was going to harm your baby?

    If you're concerned ask the pharmacist when you get the prescription filled. They are trained to know everything there is to know about every drug (or at least how to find out information for you). Much more-so than physicians.
