Weekend plans

So I'm not in my Tww or anything but I always love to hear what everyone is up to. And i enjoy the non iui/pregnancy talk as a distraction too. So what are your weekend plans this weekend? Doing anything fun?
I'm home this weekend and we're just working/renovating a room in our house. I hope for That to get done in a few weeks. So much work. I'll also be exercising a lot and going to yoga classes. So how about you?

    I am planning on exercising and doing yoga as well! I haven't done yoga in FOREVER but hoping it will help get my mind off things and chill my body out :) I'm also planning on making some cocktails at home and netflixing :) My couch is my best friend after a LONG week of work!!


    Renovating a room sounds fun!! Is it stressful? I've never done it since we are still renting but can't wait for the day we live in a house where we can do that!!

    @mskeenan oh nice! Yeah I try to do yoga almost every day...if it's a class or just at home even. I do the yoga challenges at doyouyoga.com they're so great because during the work week when I don't have time to go to an hour yoga class I do one of the classes on the site and they're only like 10 minutes long...some are pretty intense though. I highly recommend it. I'm doing the Power Yoga challenge now and the Men's 30 day yoga challenge. lol. hey! girls can still do it. haha  Cocktails sound very nice too. I think I'm actually having a sober weekend this weekend, which is good for me once in a while. :-)
    It's definetly stressful especially since we're doing it all ourselves and by "we" I mean my husband. It sucks because there's not much I can do. So I pass the tools, scrape things, sand etc.  And since he does this for a living he is so tired and doesn't feel like working on our own house. So this causes fights. Don't rush the house buying unless you will be hiring people to do it for you. haha. BUT it IS fun to pick paint colors and decorate once everything is done. :-)

    I'll be doing some baking and cooking brunch for my husband's birthday weekend. Other than that, I'm gonna binge watch Sylvester Stallone movies cause I LOVE HIM!! lol... like if I wasn't married I would totally STALK him love him. Congrats on making it to your 2WW, hoping the time goes by fast and you get your BFP!

    @shaylatrice that's so funny about your crush. :-) baking and cooking sounds fun! I'll be doing that as well. I found a bunch of new recipes on pintrest today. Neither of us are in our TWW by the way. I just went in for my baseline appointment and waiting for those results.

    Thanks for starting this post @Drove2u . I find myself constantly reading posts here and increase my anxiety level.

    My first week of TWW will be finished tomorrow. So in order not to think too much about it, I invited some friends for brunch. I need to get prepared for the brunch, baking cooking etc. and then hopefully we will have good time without any pregnancy/infertility treatment discussions. I also need to work on some of my papers on Sunday. I try to keep myself preoccupied :) 
    I can recommend another website for yoga and exercise, it is Grokker.com . They have all types of yoga , exercise and cooking videos. I really enjoy :)

    @Drove2u I hope you get good results from your baseline , and could go ahead and start your IUI cycle !

    Tgif everyone! Tomorrow is my birthday and anniversary....so we are going to do a little bit of everything. Looking forward to spending the day with my husband before ivf stims start early next week.

    @Piperella happy birthday & anniversary!

    I am disappointed today because started spotting right before I left for my beta, and I decided to do a baseline US as well...pretty sure this is AF and IUI #2 was not a success.  Currently waiting to hear how the bw looks & if I can go right into IUI cycle #3, which is what I want to do.  

    Not gonna lie, I'll be drinking tonight--probably get myself some wine I've been wanting to try, and then do take out and Netflix with DH.  Then tomorrow I might do some holiday shopping, then dinner at a friend's house.  Sunday we're trying again to see The Martian (was sold out last time we tried to go).

    @Piperella Happy birthday and anniversary.

    I'm going to my 2nd acupuncture appointment Saturday and maybe going out for DH bday dinner Sunday since it's during the week.  I say I want to try Yoga but never have.  Hope everyone has a great weekend :)

    I'm making sweet potato black bean quinoa bowls and not sure what I'll be baking yet this weekend. :-)

    I love love love yoga!!! You can make it easy like just stretches or really challenge yourself. I also love that it's not about perfection but progress and I already see so much progress after doing it for a few months.

    What's The Martian? A Movie? or a play? I never heard of it.

    It's a movie with Matt Damon.  DH read the book and is quite excited to see it, and we have to see it in 3D apparently.

    @Drove2u GL with the room renovation.  I'm currently finishing my basement and the floors have taken us over 5 months to finish...DIYers lol.  I am contemplating whether I should tackle some more painting in the basement this weekend or if I should grab my leaf blower and pick up the yard since with the way the weather has been it could snow tomorrow and then all of the leaves get stuck under snow for the winter and deteriorate which makes a huge mess for spring clean up.  Which do you think I should do?

    @ZoeFer Brunch sounds wonderful, especially if you can throw in some Mimosas...count me in (lol j/k).  It reminds me of my wedding day...something that is always forgotten the day of is to eat.  I was lucky enough to have a dear friend who made sure I was well taken care of...she brought a ton of pastries and bagels from Panera, some coffee and a pitcher of freshley squeezed OJ and a bottle of champagne...absolutely perfect :-D I will forever be grateful for her doing that for me.

    Everyone sounds like they have good weekends ahead of them!!

    We are having "Friendsgiving" Saturday night. It really started off just my husband and I doing a tester turkey for Thanksgiving (new oil-less fryer) and has grown into like 6 friends coming over - all bringing dishes!

    We will be doing our IUI at the end of next week so just biding our time and hoping some follies are growing like champs!

    I'm sooooo glad we don't have to deal with that anymore. DH's family is in MI and my family isn't considered family they are so messy and full of drama. It's just us and a few friends on Thanksgiving... which means PEACE!

    I have a friend's 2 year old daughter's birthday party tomorrow afternoon and then on Sunday I'm getting brunch with a friend.  I'm going to try to enjoy myself this weekend because I have a very busy week at work next week, and it will also be my first time starting injections (likely starting Monday).  I'm hoping I can manage...

    That looks good. OMG... you just gave me an idea. Since we all are trying to keep healthy and keep from adding any additional UNWANTED pounds. We should start a recipe share... create our own lil IFer's cookbook!

    I love the idea of posting recipes here! I have been taking a bunch of Sur La Table cooking classes lately. Tonight I am cooking a Thai dish we made. It was so good, they had authentic ingredients, I am hopjng my grocery store ingredients will somewhat resemble the dish!!
    Married May 2009, TTC since November 2012 (Together since 2006 ish - had my eyes on him since 2001)
    Me: 32 (33 in May), Him: 37 (January)

    DX: Me: High Prolactin, Possible Autoimmune Disease Issues, though RE not concerned (?)  New RE has a plan!!
           Him: Minor Varicocele, low morphology, slightly low count

    History:

    Beta 5/9/2016 BFP!!
    Embryo transfer scheduled for April 28, 2016 and beta test May 9, 2016 (day after Mother's Day!)
    Transfer Meds include: Lupron Depot (4/1), Minivelle Patch (every 3rd day), Estradiol (3x daily), Amoxicillin, Progesterone in Oil, Methylprednisonlone. Lovenox and baby asprin added after transfer. 

    3/22/16 - Sono Saline ultrasound cyst to be aspirated on 4/1/16 if not cleared up by 3/29 US - It cleared on its own
    Retrieval 3/4/16 - 26 eggs retrieved, 23 mature, 20 fertilized, 14 embryos currently frozen
    Starting IVF Stims on +/- Feb 22, 2016

    Second IUI - CD3-7 100 Clomid w/ Ovidrel Trigger - September, 2015 - BFN
    Started Prolactin Medication October 15 - Levels quickly regulated to with in normal range
    First IUI - CD3-7 100 Clomid w/ Ovidrel Trigger - August, 2015 - BFN
    After no BFPs (ever) First RE/Urologist visit in Feb 2015
    HSG w/ OB, 2014 = all clear
    Trying to conceive since November 2012

    And, when I see what is currently happening in France, it puts a lot of perspective on the agony of a 2ww...
    I will be praying a lot this weekend for France and Paris...
    Married May 2009, TTC since November 2012 (Together since 2006 ish - had my eyes on him since 2001)
    Me: 32 (33 in May), Him: 37 (January)

    DX: Me: High Prolactin, Possible Autoimmune Disease Issues, though RE not concerned (?)  New RE has a plan!!
           Him: Minor Varicocele, low morphology, slightly low count

    History:

    Beta 5/9/2016 BFP!!
    Embryo transfer scheduled for April 28, 2016 and beta test May 9, 2016 (day after Mother's Day!)
    Transfer Meds include: Lupron Depot (4/1), Minivelle Patch (every 3rd day), Estradiol (3x daily), Amoxicillin, Progesterone in Oil, Methylprednisonlone. Lovenox and baby asprin added after transfer. 

    3/22/16 - Sono Saline ultrasound cyst to be aspirated on 4/1/16 if not cleared up by 3/29 US - It cleared on its own
    Retrieval 3/4/16 - 26 eggs retrieved, 23 mature, 20 fertilized, 14 embryos currently frozen
    Starting IVF Stims on +/- Feb 22, 2016

    @vssbrm I have a vietnamese cook book that I brought from one of my fav restaurants in San Francisco, thankfully there are a few Asian markets around here that I can find the ingredients at. I too will be praying for Paris... this is mind numbing. I can't believe this is happening.

    I am in the TWW and I just found out my BETA is not until the 18th. I swear it was supposed to be tomorrow...oh well what is two more days I guess. POAS have been negative so far but I am holding out hope!!! I had some serious cramping on Wednesday and I know if I implanted that day hcg would still not be high enough to trigger a home test. Anyway this weekend I have just been trying to keep my mind off of the wait. I recently received news that I will be able to work from home in my current position as an insurance adjuster and I brought home my computer, router and all that jazz on Friday so DH and I spent yesterday setting up my home office. I am soooo excited about starting to work from home Monday. It is going to make flexing time for appointments so much easier!!!! Today I am getting a pedicure and running some errands.
