Baby Shower themes?

First off let me introduce myself. My name is Alisha and I'm due February 8th 2016 with a precious baby girl. I'm a FTM from Georgia. 
Now that all that is out of the way. If any of you moms got to chose or know your baby shower themes and would like to share I'd be more then excited to hear about them. My theme is Doctor Who and it's scheduled for the 12th of December. I really love galaxy print and the first thing that popped into my head was Doctor Who and Sailor Moon and Doctor Who won because it was easier for my Mom to find decorations for it. 
Please feel free to redirect the post if there is another one like it. I couldn't find one so thought I'd make one since we're all getting closer to the third trimester, if you're not already in it.

    Welcome! That sounds so fun- im sure you'll also get plenty of cute geeky gifts!

    My MIL is throwing my shower and she seemed to want to do the color scheme from the invite we picked out together so it's light pastel pinks and coral. I know she's been hitting up craft stores regularly and she knows how to throw a good party so I'm sure it will be wonderful but to be honest that's all I know!

    Your shower sounds great!  Mine is in mid December and I requested that it be holiday themed, because that way my host doesn't have to buy and put up decorations twice. Plus I love the holidays, and I want a combo holiday party/baby shower so my friends and family can do something festive and also celebrate with me at the same time.  I don't know what baby related holiday themes my mom and SIL will come up with, but I'm sure they'll figure something out.  I'm really hoping someone will make me a diaper snowman.

    My shower is today! It is a nautical theme. I'm super excited my sister in law sent me pics of some thing (she is super crafty) it is going to be cute! I feel like I'm celebrating the holidays early getting to see and spend time with the people I love.

    I'm not having a shower this go around. But with my first my sister themed the baby shower based on DD's nursery decorations which was kind of a country garden theme with light pinks, light greys and light green. It ended up being really cute. She's super artistic, though.

    My shower is tomorrow and it will be fall theme. Easy enough given the season :)

    Well I got to choose our theme it's little pumpkin however I haven't been allowed to make any other decisions and I did say allowed because my mom and step sister have hijacked it and keep saying no no no we got it just show up. I've given up and let them take over its my last baby and the last grand baby for my mom so I'm just letting her have her fun.

    Mine was today and the theme was "thing 1 thing 2" since we're having twins. It was a small shower and was really nice to just have  close group of gals.

    @galaxylove first off, I'm from Georgia too!  Whereabouts?  

    My shower on the 21st will be owls.  We picked out owl invitations, so my MIL just kind of went with it.  I'm pretty sure she's getting an owl cake and we'll just have other cute things like that.  We're having a girl!

    My SIL is hosting my shower. We bonded over our love of reading, so she was dead set on a book theme...she also found invitations that looked like old school library cards that she fell in love with on etsy.

    My shower was at a restaurant in town that used to be a gas station (years ago, has been a few things since), so my hosts did a really cute car/truck theme. The centerpieces were small metal trucks with roses in the back of them, the desserts were car-shaped cookies, the favors were little keychain things, and the game prizes were gas cards in boxes with little toy cars on top. Super cute.

    My shower was yesterday and it was Green Bay Packer themed (even though they lost and they have been sucking haha). Ours was Co Ed and my husband and I are huge football fans. My husband played football for years and hoping our little guy will be interested too someday so it was super cute with all the little football things my hosts decorated with. We have huge families so there was quite a few people there so we had the game playing on 3 big screens and it was so much fun. My hosts were super creative with games to go along with the game itself and everyone was able to eat and visit which was so nice because many of us don't see each other often. Not the typical shower most have, but I hate being center of attention and my anxiety goes through the roof when all eyes are on me so this was perfect for me!

    My shower is Dec 5th and there's no real theme. The centerpieces will be pink poinsettia plants and the colors will probably be pink/purple/gold. It's at a hall so there will probably be minimal decorating.

    I am a huge Star Wars fan, and decided boy or girl, they were getting a star wars nursury.  I am having a boy, so even better.  I am having two showers, one for family only, and one for friends only.  Both are Star Wars themed.  My friends are super crafty/pinterest people, so I know I will have a different feel from theirs to my mom's, since she basically went to party city and bought everything Star Wars that doesn't say Happy Birthday!

    I haven't been in the loop with those planning my shower. They did ask if I had any ideas. I suggested "Baby, its cold outside" since it will be in January. Not sure if they are going to use it, but I think it could be cute. Who doesn't love a cup of hot chocolate on a cold day?!

    I'm not having a shower because it's my second, but with my first it was an outer space theme. My artsy friend made a space themed diaper cake and hung up inflatable planets everywhere.

    OMG...love that @Galaxylove is having a Doctor Who themed shower!!!!!! My mom, sister and one of my friends planned mine (it was two weeks ago at a restaurant) and to be honest, I think all the decorations came from family dollar! Did NOT look cheesy at all! We did minimal things because I'd rather good food then decorations.

    My shower is just a "sprinkle" since this is my second child so the theme will be sprinkles of rain/April showers.

    Oh I'm so jealous! I love Doctor Who! My hubby hates it though booooo. We aren't having my shower til after the holidays... January 9th. I'm due exactly one month later, I hope my jelly bean doesn't make an early debut.

    My sister wanted to match our nursery decor, but since I'm not 100% on that yet I've steered her to a children's book theme.

    Our nursery is going to be jungle animals, so they did the same for my shower and a lot of the decorations my friends got for the ahower are going right in his room, which I was super excited about!

    Mine will be Dec 12th. My hostess' decided on Baby its cold outside theme. We are using blues and pinks, snowflakes, all things winter. Also, a hot chocolate bar! Even tho I live in Louisiana and it probably wont be very cold, we will still enjoy it. I am having a little girl but I CANNOT DO ALL PINK!

    Not sure if we are having a shower with this one. Considering just take my close friends out to lunch. Especially a few that blessed us with a ton of hand-me-down girl clothes. However, with my son my sil hosted a Baby Owner's Manual / tech themed co-Ed shower. We had games you could choose to do while visiting with no pressure so it felt laid back. It was a lot of fun.

    I had an elephant/chevron themed shower, to match our daughters nursery. My mom is very crafty so she made lots of stuff that could be used in her room after the fact. We are doing elephants with shades of pink, turquoise and pale green :)
